Hate to ask but...I am trying to get a picture for our cheapo class made...we liked the setting ect...but we can't have all the beer in the background ( Christian school )...so I was going to ask if anyone can either blur it out without making it look bad or to obvious...or just made it look like the rest of the wood...some of you are so good at photoshop its very easy for yall to do this...if anyones interested there is a link of the picture below...I know its a wiitarded picture so don't ask =).

http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/3830/classqo5.jpg

if you are interested I will send you a high res copy. I don't think this would be to time consuming. If yall can do this I wouldn't mind donating with paypal...

Just let me know if anyone is interested in taking a shot.

Thanks mucho.

I'm happy to do it for free. Looks fairly trivial.

Email me the high-res copy, and when I get home from work in nine hours or so, I'll do it and get it back to you.

I can't believe that even a Christian School would be mad about such an innocuous back ground for a class photo.
It's so innocent, not like every one in the class was sitting there trashed out of their minds throwing drinks at one another.

I looked at it and wandered "blur out what?"  I mean, I can't even tell if the bottles in question really are beer.

For future reference, this can be done with clone stamp tool. What he did was grab a portion of the wood in another section of the picture. Then he used the clone stamp. Use Alt and click on the desired area of the wood, then move to the beer section, and finally, paint over with the selection made with the clone stamp. If you're afraid of it going over the selected border, use the lasso tool to constrain it in a particular area. It's pretty easy to learn.

true, it is quit easy. what i did was:

EDIT:1. copied the section aside it, the one with a pot or something, then i just put the copy of that section over the beer, colored over the edges so that it looked similar and the use the clone tool to clone the wood, then i just picked a dark wood color to define the bottom border of the wood, the place where the wood reaches the wall, and once the corner was well defined and contuied to fix the otehr alcohol products and it was all, then just fix the red/whjite eyes, and as the red eye fixer tool didn't work well because of the non red eyes and the low definition i had to select a natural color for every eye and paint over the white eye zone, finally i just fixed the levels a little bit to make the image a bit more colorful and that's it

EDIT EDIT: i have uploaded the finished version: http://imeanit.freeweb7.com/beer.html

Yes, isn't it . . .

While getting drunk is somewhat irresponsible unless you are at home or with trusted friends, drinking in itself should not be considered such a grave sin. If it was, Jesus wouldn't have turned water to wine, would he now? I can be completely lost when it comes to certain rules, though. For instance, I have no explanation for the Christian schools that don't allow facial hair (or long hair), yet have pictures of bearded, long-haired Jesus everywhere. That seems more about control than anything spiritual.

There's this funny story a Chief Master Sergeant told us once:
Quote
When I had my first son, I was so proud.  He was a bright strong young man, and I was always happy to help him out with most things.  In high school he decided that he wanted to grow his hair out long, and grow a big beard.  When he came to me and asked me to help him buy a car I said:
"Son, I'll buy you a car when you're presentable, get a hair cut and shave that beard and we'll talk about the car again."
My son seems distraught and walked away.  A few days later he came to me, Bible in hand, and a big smile on his face.  "Dad," he said, "I know you read The Bible and believe in the words in side of it, so I just wanted to point out that, Moses, Noah, and Jesus, all had long hair and beards."
I thought for a moment and then I said, "Yeah, that's true," My son's face lit up, "But they also walked every where they went too."

Still doesn't explain why they consider it unpresentable...

If Christians hold a figure in such honor... then what's so wrong with looking in likeness to him?
