wow - those screenshots look awesome!
i wonder though, what kind of pc is required to get such great looking graphics
and more importantly, i doubt my old imac is gonna be able to hack it
shall have to try and accelerate my plans to upgrade the mac to coincide with the release of DOW2

(that said - i've also yet to play Soulstorm - bought it, but haven't installed it yet - too much work and not enough play etc etc.....)

Haha, Steam likes to do that... in fact every sorta of social site or framework likes to do that, as soon as you decide to actively use it... bam disconnect!

Chaos Rising looks really good, Can't wait to get it, I just hope I have enough hard drive space when it comes out.


Now I am really pissed off, I did a steam backup of DoW2 and tried to reinstall it, got rid of my saved files. Was literally 2 missions away from the end... 14 hours of gameplay lost. Might have to redo the whole thing... urgh.

Steam update seemed to fix in it, the update that broke it was the Win 7 one. Funny thing is I'm using Win 7 and it was FINE before the update...

Gutted. lol. Do it in coop. ; )

Btw, the final mission is insane. Really good fun though. : ) And the Avatar of Khaine guy is a complete bastard imo. >< Too many adds and he regens hp. Probably the toughest fight in the game though.
Gonna have to ramp up the difficulty since it was a little to east to just run & gun through it.

Well I am up for Cooping it, just means I will have to do it again through on the hardest in Coop (so I can get all the host achievements)

Yay! Coop time!! ^^ More achievements is goooood! (ramp it up to Primarch difficulty if you want all the achievements.)

Of course having some cute girls round would probably stop me too. ; )

I feel your pain about uni. work, glad mine was done over a year ago now. Might also have something to do with the fact I'm out of work at the moment and have some more free time than I would normally have.

fyi; I run to GMT. So any time after 7pm GMT or so is fine. Just message me when your ready. I'll probably be working on my sae just before finishing the game working my way towards that 90k campaign score achievement.
