Originally I wanted to post a thread asking if there where any conventions going on in the Louisville Kentucky area. Then it dawned on me there isn't a dedicated con thread here (that I know of at least). So here it is, if there's a con going to happen in your area or that you know about post it and if weither or not you're going.

Ananth and I will be at Magfest in Jan and then at Katsucon in Feb.

Going to be attending ACEN again this May with friend of mine. Last time we only went on Saturday. Hopefully this time we'll go for the whole weekend.

Convention schedule
We'll be attending Genericon in Troy, New York, Jan 25-27.
It's been a while since we went to a convention, but you can expect us to be the same attentive, effervescent people we always were.

Speaking of which do any of you guys go to gamin cons? // I was at the first one of the Irish season last weekend and it was wonderful (also happened to be my first gamin con, yay for me!) // Gamin is fun, any one else back me up on this?

My friends and I are thinking about going to Lebowski Fest in July. Does that count?  Looks like it could be fun, as long as I'm still in MD I'm willing to make the drive to KY with a good group of good friends. Any one ever been to one? |

Yeah there's tons of people that go to that stuff each year man. It's nuts. I think I'm going to be shocked at how much every one knows about Big Lebowski.
