There is no comic for Thursday. Sorry.
I need to focus on getting something done for Dark Horse. I wish I could go into details, but I can’t. Ananth ended up doing a lot work for the AG book last night after his power returned. Hence the simple AG Lite for Wednesday, I’m pretty sure you can guess which AG Lites are written by me.
I am happy to say the AG book is coming along nicely. However, it’s not an easy process. Someone did ask me why it was taking so long. Sorry, but putting a book together doesn’t happen over night. There is a lot of communication and decision making in the process.
That is it for now, I better get back to work.
Happy Diwali, to those of you that celebrate it. :D
Miss Monster is a supremely talented professional illustrator, designer and costumer who wants to work for YOU! She’s open for commissions, clothing design, and original merchandise right now.
I actually own two of her t-shirts (the Monster Crest and Animal Hat designs) and I’ve commissioned her for a piece for one of Yuko’s past birthdays (it came out beautifully). She’s one of my personal favorite illustrators and designers - she’s able to use themes of the fantastic and totally wrap them in a modern, contemporary, urban sensibility. If you guys have seen me at cons, you’ve seen me wearing the shirts around. ;) But don’t take my word for it - go ahead and look at her resume running a mile long on the front page there. And while you’re at it, check out her costuming work - she’s terrorizing a bunch of schoolkids here and taking a walk in her werewolf costume here. It’s a little tough to see in the second video there, but the mechanics of that costume are nuts.
If you’re interested in commissioning her for a piece (and you can see examples of her illustration and commissioned work on her website) or for some original merchandise, etc. then go ahead and drop her a line at missmonster AT g mail dot com. Her rates are EXCEEDINGLY reasonable, so don’t be shy to go ahead and just ask … she’s super super friendly. Happy monstering! ;)
Today I have to go fulfill my civic duty … jury duty’s a first for me. Hawk had to do this a while ago, and it just sounds like a lot of waiting. Time to take a book! I’ve been reading Perdido Street Station, so I’ll probably get through a lot of that.
Hahahaha, I love how Eve came out in the first panel. She looks like she has book wings, awesome.
I really like the art in the latest AG Lite, dunno why.
