Last year, I was selling a small book of my sketches at conventions. The same book is now available as an app for your iPhone. A 40-page book app showcasing sketches I have done over the years.
Originally in print for 10 dollars, but in digital form it is now 99 cents – so for those who can’t make it to conventions, it’s a real steal!
You can swipe through the pages or pick a sketch from a series of thumbnails. Direct link to the iTunes Store can be found here.

Your art as an iPhone app, it was destined to be.
whoa..if only your artwork was put together into like a art book type of thing. Something like ” Art of applegeeks “. I would buy that.. but yeah nice stuff.
I tried to download the app into my ipod touch but it says that it’s incompatible and that i need a microphone? darnit.
That is weird…. I’ll check the App store setting.
Try again in 30 minutes. I changed a setting but takes a while to update to the store.
Very cool i’ll check it in 30 minutes. Do you still sell the printed version of your Sketchbook?
Yeah I have a few copies left. If you would like one, email me at mfhaqueAThawkstudios.net
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh, going to have to rate this on iTunes as Awesome must have, and do.
Would be cool if you made this into some updatable art thing, where you update artwork every so often within the application. :)
Do the top and bottom bars disappear or are they always there? Can you zoom and pan around the images?
I want to be able to take screen shots to use as my background :)
You can do that, on an iPhone or iPod, you press the Power Button + Home Button together, and your screen will flash. That means a screenshot of your screen has been taken, and goes into your Camera Roll. Then you can use it as a wallpaper through there. :)
any plans to put this up on android?
Is it possible to get some art commentary in there with each picture or something? That would be a nice feature. :) Gives a little extra.
Well made though Hawk, I’ve been working with the iPhone SDK too. Any references you’d recommend? A good book I use it “Beginning iPhone 3 Development” by Mark & LaMarche.
