There are a lot of rumors going around about a portable mac tablet from Apple. Some say it will be out next year. Anyways, the latest rumor got me really excited. I’m actually in my mac-ball as I type this.
Now imagine reading your comics, even your webcomics, from anywhere. No. I’m not talking about from the bathroom. I find people taking their portable devices to the bathroom, using it while they do their business, WEIRD.
Sure you can read comics on your iphone… if you like to squint or zoom in and out a lot. But what if it was on a tablet?! Excited? Andy Ihnatko wrote an interesting article about this, check it out.
Here is a video of an opening of a new Microsoft Store, which surprise surprise looks just like an Apple Store.
Images of Apple store…

Now….

Seriously?
Look, I’m not here to start a Mac vs Windows debate. However, I am interested in hearing from Windows users about this new Microsoft store. Is this store even necessary?
As I mentioned last week, I’ll be taking some time to create art outside of AG. I posted a new photo illustration over at hawkstudios and more will come.
I had that illustration idea sitting in my head for a while now. It actually feels good to be able to finally do it and move on to my next piece.
We’ve had the opportunity to talk about Ramadan on Applegeeks because Hawk is a character in the strip … but in the same sense it’s always been a little more difficult to write about my own Hindu background since there’s no framework for it. It’s also always been easier for me to write about people other than myself … but anyway, I took the plunge and did a Diwali write-up over at Johnny Wander. If you have a moment and you’re curious, please take a look.
Hey guys, so Hawk is, from time to time, going to do a series of ‘real world’ style pin-ups … he’s going to go through the whole cast at some point. I am digging the new approach – it’s a fresh look at the world of AG. Hope you like it too!
Hey guys! It’s Diwali, otherwise known as the Festival of Lights. I’m heading over to spend an evening with my parents. For those of you out there who celebrate – Happy Diwali! For those of you that don’t but are curious – take a look at the Wikipedia entry. :D
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
