The comics are up. Is it even possible to write a TMNT Batman fanfic?

I don’t think so. Batman/raph maybe, heck you could even throw in Casey. But not the turtles as a group.

Now spiderman/TMNT… That’s something I would read.

I think so, the turtles have traveled through many, many different dimensions, it’s possible they could spend a few months in Gotham, although I think the Justice League would send them back after a few weeks.

Should be easy enough.

The foot are supposedly world renowned aren’t they? They could be trying to do/get something ridiculous in Gotham. Maybe specifically stealing from Wayne Industries.

BAM!! Instant teamup.

The turtles are way too upbeat to hang with batman. Heck you might as well par him with Barney. But I’ll give it a shot:

(Part 1)

One dark, rainy day, billionaire Bruce Wayne was in his cave brooding over his parent’s death. Suddenly he caught a smell coming from the drain pipe that he could not explain. He had to describe it, he would say it smelled like ‘pizza’. Curious, sent a bat-camera down the drain pipe to investigate the strange odor.

The sewers contained all you would expect in a sewer: sludge, alligators, worm colonies, etc however in the distance his probe detected something unusual, a television. The caped crusader sent to probe further toward the machine when he discovered something truly bizarre.

At first he did not believe what he saw so he double checked his readings. At first he could not believe that a giant turtle holding a katana was actually on his screen. Until he discovered 3 more similar creatures and a giant rat in a red robe.

Clearly this was not going to be a normal night…

You mean like a crossover where batman becomes an honorary TMNT? sure!

obviously it would start out with a fight before they realize that they’re all on the same side and then they fight together to take out the bad guy (like all decent super hero cross overs)

Just because you mentioned, it now exists, somewhere on the Internet.
And it’s probably a slash fic. I hope you’re happy.

Disturbingly, in fanfics ANYTHING is possible. ;P If I really tried, I could probably even come up with a plot that was worth reading, though I think I’ll leave that to someone else. I prefer writing my own characters anyway. ;P

After witnessing LOTR/Star Trek…yes, EVERYTHING is possible.

Batman/Land Before Time – EASY
Batman/My Little Ponies – no problem
Batman/Batman – probably already been done

It depends on which Batman and which TMNT you go with. If you go with the hokey Super Friends Batman and the Saturday morning cartoon TMNT(From the 80s)… You can go with the Eastman and Laird style and a darker grittier Batman. Heck, you can do the Bruce Timm Batman and maybe even get away with the movie version Ninja Turtles. The possibilities are endless! Sorry, is my geek showing?

splinter gets killed while taking the turtles to the movies. rather than have a story about one rich kid who declares war on crime, use the four turtles. each can then embody one of the many stages of dealing with grief. Raph = anger, Mikey = bargaining, Donny = depression, and Leo = acceptance or denial depending on how you want his leadership to be. you get the batman personality/feel, but split into 4. shredder can be linked up to joker with the “embodiment of chaos” not only by name, but motive – some random street punk killed his rival and now shredds will never be able satisfy his thirst for vengeance. the foot clan would be the equivalent of jokers clowns but instead of just being dressed up thugs, they would have follow shredders vision of chaos/lets just mess with everything cause we can. this would be a setup that would allow for the feel of both, but not necessarily confine the story to a mashup of plot events where april o’neil becomes the first robin/turtle buddy but gets killed by shredder, or shot and paralyzed and turned into oracle… or becomes poison ivy etc etc

TOTALLY possible. Maybe not advisable, but most definitely possible.

(rats, I already started thinking of how that would work)

If your really want to mix it up. You could have the start with the turtles trying to stop a mugger in the alley that Bruce and his parent are in. They get caught in the crossfire and Bruce’s parents get killed. So now Bruce swears vengence against the turtles. Now our story begins with him fighting against the turtles, but a greater enemy arises. Who? Eh…whoever, but gothan…NO! The world are in danger and if Batman and the Turtles don’t team up…The world is doomed! DOOMED I TELL YOU! DOOMED! *da da da DUM!!!*

Depends on which Batman. Bruce Wayne himself has been known to show a more light-hearted side, so Batman might eventually warm up to the four, but at first he’d have a hard time dealing with 1. There are giant turtles fighting crime and 2. They are all loud teenagers (as if Robin weren’t enough trouble.)
It would maybe be a one-time thing, and in the end, after they proved to be just as great heroes as all the others batman has worked with, he might just even wear a mask once just to humor them.

No the evil must stop. If there is a Batman/TMNT then it would lead to a “Batman and the Chacolate Factory” with the Joker as Willie Wonka. It’s wrong I tells ya…..Just wrong.

Ever since I read the (quite awesome) Fanfic “Shinji and Warhammer 40k” I know for sure that regarding fanfics absolutely everything is possible. And most probable already existing somewhere.

Don’t underestimate a horde of anime-nerdy teenagers, that’s like in rule 34. Remember: You didn’t ask for a GOOD fanfic, just for a fanfic. :)

Quoted from the fic:
“What are you? Some type of Machine?” Batman asks.

“I’m a fairy, haven’t you seen one before?” Navi says.
“Ok whatever, so who is Link?” Batman asks.

AHHHH My brain hurts now!

Well, it’s possible to do a crossover, but be sure to draw plenty of pictures of yellow jumpsuit wearing Channel 6 reporter April O’Neil. ^_~

If they all have Turlerangs then yes I say god speed.

And am I the only one that found if you say all the “Sign my X” parts in the comic at a certain speed that it sounds like a song of some odd sort?

The artwork for this (sign my stuff) comic was particularly delicious :) I can’t quite put my finger on why… it might be the bold brown lineart… and the textures and colour palette….
:)
What is the strangest thing you’ve ever had to sign??

I’ll try to be serious here. (if there’s ever such a thing :P)

The story begins with the Michaelangelo and Raphael scouting the sewers when suddenly, they found themselves face to face with a huge giant beast..

Cut to Batman trying to find a lead on Killer Croc who had managed to rob a bank and killed two security guards in the process, all leads to New York.

Cut back to Michaelangelo and Raph fighting killer croc, and the rest of the gang joined, they nearly defeated it when it managed to get away.

Batman comes to scout New York city, met casey jones, had a scuffle and Casey asks Batman to try and ask the turtles instead, and head down to the sewers, fought the turtles for a while due to misunderstanding, but gets cut short when some footsoldiers, Killer Croc and Shredder attacks. Turns out Killer Croc and Shredder are now in cahoots.

Turtles and Batman retreats, resolves differences, attacks shredder’s place, killer croc gets caught,Batman commends the turtles, leaves and Raphael REALLY looking up to Batman and seriously pondering to become a vigilante hero again. the end.

It COULD work. :D
