If you missed my latest tweet, I decided to take it easy after I got home from work. It has been a long day and I just needed to relax. The comic will be up either Thursday night or Friday night.

Thanks for understanding.

This storyline is wonderful. I think everyone understands that you have a real life, Hawk. Can’t wait to see what happens…

Everyone suffers when you work yourself into the ground. I think I speak for many when I say that we are happy to take what we can get from you and Ananth. Relax and keep up the ever awesome work.

By ‘take it easy’, you mean ‘kill some zombies’, don’t you?

There’s just not enough hours in the day for zombie killing.

Good man. “Hard work good, and hard work fine, but first – take care of head.”

Oh, and another one applies too:

“Summertime… and the livin’s easy.”

These people in such a rush to see updates all the time will come to realize that eventually its better to take things at a slower pace. Otherwise you get burnt out and miss all the fine details life has to offer.

Look at when Hawk went to Bangladesh – he came back sort of invigorated. You need a break from that constant mental stimulus that the “glowing rectangle” fires at your eyeballs every single day.

I sympathize with Hawk because we’re in the same line of work, and its a lot of day-in-day-out in front of the Mac. When your passion starts feeling more like a job, it sucks the life out of you and your work.

People should take note that quality will always reign over quantity. I’d rather have 2-3 well executed strips than 10 half-assed rushed strips.

I think you are too hard on yourself, although that also might be how you created such awesome work! Kick back and relax.
