Tonight I’m busy packing for A-Kon. We will have our books. You can pick up a copy at our table and we’ll be happy to sign it. If you already bought a copy, we’ll still sign it and sell it back to you. Just kidding.
We will have our power symbol bandanas, which sells out pretty fast.
We will have AG buttons and sexy AG prints.
Since I’m still packing, it looks like I will have to skip Thursday comic. I’ll try to make up for it by doing something for Monday.

I love the comic and I’ll probably get hate for this but it seems like promoting the comic (cons) seems to get in the way of actually DOING the comic. I know I shouldn’t be complaining because you guys work hard to provide us with free entertainment but I am. Applegeeks was my first webcomic. Before I found this I didn’t even know webcomics EXISTED! I am probably way off and wrong but it seems like you two just don’t get the same enjoyment from doing AG as you used to ya know? Like it’s not as fun. If I am right then take a break. Sure your fans wont like it but the true fans will stick through the hiatus. I know I will. However, I am probably wrong.
You have to realize that the comic also isn’t a full-time job for the guys. They have AG and they do have jobs. If you appreciate the content, just bare with and enjoy what they can provide. Like you said, it’s free entertainment and patience is a virtue
I think you both have very valid points. Yeah, I kinda get annoyed when they have to rush to get one comic a week because they’re going to one con after another after another. “Sorry for late comic, but we just got back from Thisa-con, you might get something next week when we get back from Thata-con, if not wait until the week after when we get back from Another-con.” I know they both have jobs. But I think this brings up another question I don’t think I’ve seen them answer… do they WANT to do this full time? Never gonna happen if the fan base slips because you’re too busy at cons to do the comic. Never gonna happen if you doodle (AG Lite) instead of working on the comic, Never gonna happen if you split your time with an unrelated t-shirt line. And let’s face it, all those Power Symbol Bandanas and t-shirts are crap without the comic…
I like the comic, despite the fact that it changes drawing styles and story arcs (if you could call them arcs) more often than I change my underwear. Which if often, thank you. :P Hawk comes back from Japan where he had his Powersuitbut it’s never mentioned until after the short story about the body switch, then they find Old Mac in 2 comics, and he’s never heard from again. Then there’s the crime fighting without the suit mini arc before anyone mentions the suit, at which point Hawk casual mentions he lost it (and isn’t looking for it). Then he get warm and fuzzy in the pants about inventing for Eve to be a crimefighter. Body-switch grl come over to be baby-sat, open her first door, and there’s Old Mac AND the suit sitting in plain sight. How they both got there when Old Mac has no arms or legs is beyond me. SOMEONE must have moved him and the suit in there….
Sorry, but the whole ‘not finishing a storyline’ was bugging me. :P
you know the comic is doing something that they love. a beloved hobby. do you realize how hard it must be for them to balance a job going to cons AND drawing the comic? anyone else want to complain? you try it and let us know how it goes. these two DO have lives other than the applegeeks comic, sure the fans are important to them… THATS WHY THEY DO THE CONS… but give them a break..sheesh

Have you ever concidered putting laptop stickers in your e-store ?
You know the concept, right? Those partially see-through stickers with some fancy design on it that you stick to the back of your laptop so it looks less …. standard.
I think this would be a nice addition, since everyone reading this comic supposedly has one or more computer. I would ,for one, be very interested in a laptop-sticker of Eve.
Anyway, your comic is looking more professional by the day, keep it up! I wish I could draw that way (but as you can see on my site, I still have lengths to go).

I wish I lived near the Marlyand/DC area, so I could buy the book, I ordered a copy of the first trade paperback from my local comic book shop, and it still hasn’t shown up. I’m not sure why though, but it is starting to irritate me a little. The store I use goes through Diamond, I think, and I know the owner ordered it I sat there and listened to him do it, the book just hasn’t shown up. =(
