Hey guys, we’re back from Calgary, Canada.
After waking up at 4:50am to catch a 7:45am flight back to Washington D.C, only to find out our flight was delayed a little due to the weather – it started to snow when we got to the airport. Luckily the delay wasn’t that bad, we barely made it to our second flight in Chicago. At the end we made it back safely back into D.C around early evening.
Otafest was awesome last year and this year, it was even better. I want to thank Otafest and its’ staff for having us. I also would like to give a special thanks to Jenny, Tyler, Rose and Nancy for taking care of us while we were visiting. Of course, huge thanks to our fans that came by to see us at our table and panels.

We were pretty amazed to hear how fast our books were flying off the shelves at the local comic book stores and in the dealers’ room. By Saturday afternoon, they were sold out. I’m sorry if you weren’t able to get one while we were there. Of course, if you bought a book and find us at a convention, we’ll be happy to sign it for you. =)

We weren’t the only guests at Otafest this year. We had the honor to get to know and hang out with Johnny Yong Bosch and Maurice Salmin. I’m sure everyone knows the actor, voice actor and musician Johnny Bosch. If you don’t know, he is best known for Adam Park in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He is also the voices behind Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach), Vash the Stampede (Trigun), Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass) and Nero (Devil May Cry 4).
Johnny is also part of a band called Eyeshine with Maurice Salmin. I wasn’t able to attend their Live & Intimate panel but I heard they made a Canadian Song.
Two very talented and very down to earth guys, I hope to catch up with them later down the road.
Otafest, thank you, we definitely had an awesome time.
