Sigh.
Ok. So I went to New York Comic Con over the weekend. I had a great time, met with old friends and made some new ones. I was also carrying a stack of stock paper and having artists sketch on them. Throughout the weekend, I was very careful about keeping it close to me. I wanted to put them all together and post it as Monday comic and write a comment for each one.
As you can see there is no big comic. Why? Because my dumbass left the pile of paper on a table while I was packing up to leave. You have no idea how annoyed I am right now. I didn’t realize I left it all back in New York until I started to unpack when I got home.
However, I was able to come back with one art that wasn’t in the pile. I met Karl Kerschl, the creator of The Abominable Charles Christopher. A very cool, down-to-earth, talented artist that I have been following ever since I found his work online. I had a 8×10 canvas board with (don’t why I was carrying a canvas around me, I don’t know either), so I asked him if he could sketch something for me. With a pen and brush pen, he created this:

I can tell you right now, watching him draw and ink has inspired me to push myself even further. The way he draws animals without any references and the use of negative space blows my mind.
Again, I wanted to post something for Monday comic, but I lost what I wanted to put up. Sorry.
