Here is a quick run down how Eve in Issue 500 was created. Beware the image is long.

Very nice Lena Headey-esque EVE there. But I would think a bit of Jin-Roh and Steam-boy. Where it’s a bit more fluid and less choppy on the in-between frames.

That’s a nice set of Angelina Jolie lips there. D:
Y’know, if this is what it looked like as an anime, the production values would be through the roof… granted that the values didn’t fall throughout production.

The link just takes me to the picture that is on the front page…am I missing something? Is there some cool “making of” break down that I really would enjoy seeing? If so…I wanna see it. If not…I wanna see it.

Amazing drawing! Kinda remembers me why Eve is my favorite Web Comic character. :)
Congrats for the 500th issue!
As long as you make them, I will read them.

I like this but I like the Eve-look in the comics better. She has an every-day-girl-cute kind of beauty.

Thanks for the breakdown Hawk! I love seeing that kind of stuff. Here’s to 500 more comics. Your art has come a long way (not trying to say it was ever bad). Looking forward to see how it’s evolved at issue 1000!

Is there a way to get the completed picture on a T-Shirt? I would so buy that. :)

I love how her scapulas(or whatever their called) and ribcage(or whatever) is mixed into her torso section. At first I thought it was football padding, but then I realized it was anatomy!

Hey Hawk, I just got my first tablet and have been trying to get used to coloring / shading. What program do you use? Any tips on technique or tutorials you could point me towards?

This is beautiful. Loved seeing the process and I like how you drew Eve’s hair.

I think this is really excellent art. Takes a very skilled eye and hand to accomplish… however, even though I recognize its artistic value and skill, I really dislike this style in general. So, if Applegeeks ever goes to this style, I’m going to stop reading. XD

In the mean time, keep up the awesome comics and the awesome art, regardless of other’s negative opinions (that would be me ;)

Woo, shiny! Just your average, girl-next-door, super-strong personal robot, superhero-partner (and sometimes high fashion model)–that’s our sweet little Eve. =D
