Hey guys, if you haven’t been following my Twitter, I have returned from Bangladesh last Thursday night. Sorry I haven’t posted anything since then. Something about being on the plane more than 17 hours and not able to sleep, I can’t get myself to write. Oh yeah, and there is also jetlag.
First off, the overall trip was great, my mother and I had a great time while we were there. I have been there before, during my brother’s wedding and about three other times when my brother and I were little. This was the first time I actually bounded with my family over there. It really helps to understand the language and be able to speak it.
It was a bumpy flight to Bangladesh and the way back. On our way over, we got stuck at the London airport for about 8 hours. Then on out way back, two of our bags didn’t show up at our destination. When I asked them about the missing bags, the airline knew about just one bag until I told them two of them were missing. Luckily the bags were found and delivered to my house.
Every morning we had a very dense fog that swallowed up everything. As soon as that cleared up, the weather was around the 80’s and 90’s. It was almost like paradise. Every day, my mother and I traveled to different part of the town and cities. Every night I sat down with my cousins, my aunts, uncles, and got to know them.
It was very emotionally when the time was up. A part of me wanted to stay a little bit longer and get to know the family even more. Then there was the other part that missed the west very much.
If I could ask everyone for a little more patience as I get myself back on schedule.
Thanks.

Welcome back, bro. Glad you had a good time and glad you’re back.
great to have you back. would’ve been awesome to see you at Setsucon, but what can you do, right? i look forward to more awesome comics, and, once again, welcome back.
Great to have you back Hawk. I wish my family lived further away so I could visit them and explore their hometown. Sounds like you had a blast.
~*KA*~
(I will miss the Yuko filler though)
Dense fog? Naaaaa, you must be exaggerating, or the picture doesn’t do it justice. Here in the PNW we get fog that won’t let you see 20 feet.
Take whatever time you need to get reoriented, good to have you back. (>^^)>
no dense fog is when u cant see 5ft. earlier this month if was so foggy a deer could have been running beside me while i was driving my car and i wouldnt have known a thing. Also welcome back hawk and take ur time.
Welcome back I’m glad you had fun.
Welcome back, man! Take your time and get caught up with your local friends. I travel a lot to visit my family (who all live in Canada) so I know how much it can drain you… and I’m only going a hundred miles or so! ;)
Haha. Sounds like you had some fun getting back.
No, wait, not fun. The opposite of that.
Anyway.
Glad to hear your trip went alright.
welcome back! Glad to know your trip went well, but I admit, I’m happy you’re back. :)
Welcome back!
It’s great that you can actually speak the language. I’m Filipina, but I dont speak the language, so the few times I’ve been to the Philippines, its a little miserable, but it’s nice to have the time to think your own thoughts for awhile.
Congratulations on surviving such a long flight. I’ve always had a hard time through London. Not the greatest airport.
Welcome back, Hawk! I’m glad you had a good time with your family, and I’m looking forward to seeing more of your fabulous photos!
