As you know, I work full-time for a small design studio in Washington D.C. Couple days ago I finished a few custom photo illustrations for a commercial director/photographer, Kenny Morrison.

I was given couple of modeling photos on a white background. My task was to create an environment surrounding the models.

Huh, so thats whay you do for your real job. I always wondered what it was. Looks amazing Hawk, really like the second one of the three you displayed.

I find it hard to like the first one just because I so strongly dislike what the model’s wearing, although your illustration is great. The second and third ones are awesome, though. Awesome, amazing, wonderful, etc

Nice color sampling on all the photos. I like the first one but the second one really appeals to me, only wish I have for it is to see it without the plane/afterburn. It kind of distracts from the image instead of complimenting it.

as a future graphic designer, I want to be able to do half as good the work you do.
Great stuff
