Well, it could be that Deadpool was using his holograph thing, or that shot is right before he got cancer and joined the program. Either way, I hope they make him as funny and crazy as he was in the comics.
I’m sure he’ll be just as he is in the comics…its ryan renolds after all. He cant help but put a little bit of comedy in all his roles, even the more serious ones.
I wonder if he will be aware that hes in a movie in the movie the same way he’s aware hes in a comic book in the comic books.

Yeah it’s either Deadpool in holo form OR before the cancer. They are going to use CGI to create his scars.
I doubt they’ll cover up Deadpool’s face. It’s Ryan Reynolds for crying out loud. Along with Jackman, their milkshakes will bring the girls to the yard.
well this is set up before he becomes deadpool and is just a soldier, as it was when they injected wolverines regenerative cells that caused the scars and his mind to become uncontrollable. So he will probably just be a typical soldier in this one. He did not even get the name deadpool until after he joinr the weapon x program and was given it as deadpool was the name of the pool for when the weapon x rejects would die.

I’m fairly sure that’s Emma turning into her diamond form although I’m at a lost as to why her clothes change as well.
They don’t, check it again. There’s just a white flash on her midriff from a bullet ricocheting but the shoulder straps stay the same.
And to Jess who asked about Dracula, I think that’s just Victor Creed (Sabertooth), although smaller and less blond apparently.
No opinion on whether the movie will be good or suck, if they focus more on a story than on “Hey! Wouldn’t it be cool if…?” it could be pure awesome. Although reading the Wiki I get that sinking feeling in my stomach… Will.i.am?? Cyclops as a Project X captive? meh
ah, ok. i see it now but i think i’m going take issue with how they portray her diamond form anyways if she stays that sparkly the entire time. not for any real reason until i see the movie except i was scarred by how they portrayed Bobby ice up and Colossus armor up in X3.
If I am right it isnt static but something far more solid. I think its the White Queen herself Emma Frost, or is it Summers now?

Im sure Emma Frost and the other cameos such as storm, are just fan service add ins. That wolverine just so happens to stumble upon during his past adventures. My only complaint for the movie is why wolverine isn’t Canadian, there’s no good excuse for that. From what I saw in the trailer he was wearing an American ww1 and 2 uniform. I found it very interesting in the Marvel comics how the Canadian government is shady and somewhat evil, but in real life is passive, makes it interesting.
They will probably say he was acting as a mercenary or something like that. He did fight in the spanish american war.

Especially with the recent uproar in Parliament, and Harper in power. Nobody’s been paying attention – and that’s what so dangerous about the whole thing. Things are looking pretty shady right now.

The wikipedia stuff says that they will use computer generated stuff to add deadpool scars. So maybe when wolverine escapes he gets the scars o.O .
There’s no way that the woman who turned bright white can be Emma Frost. Her cleavage is far too small. Emma Frost is to cleavage in the Marvel universe what Power Girl is to cleavage in the DC universe. And half of Power Girl’s definition is her cleavage.
Heck, they both have cleavage that would make even Galactus pull over and say “Woah, now those are some huge tits!”.
Though, if they’ve already shown a pretty tiny Sabertooth and a really hot Deadpool, they might as well have Emma Frost with small boobs and Gambit with no accent.
I do hope the movie is good though. The trailer was too busy to really get a good feel for what the movie might be like. Nice use of the Sunshine soundtrack in the beginning, I’ll always love a trailer that uses that music.
Go back and read the past couple of years issues dealing with Emma, she had major reconstructive surgery while she was with the hellfire club.
Knowing Marvel, and how much they’ve been using the retcon lately, I would be surprised if Emma’s boobs are a gift from Mephisto himself at this point.
Honestly, any time anyone does something in a comic book, within a year it never actually happened. No one stays dead, no plot lines really have any effect. What’s the point of knowing a comic book history that might not even be relevant within the next twelve months.
You mentioned reading up on Emma Frost. Which universe would I read up on? Which writer? Her clones all seem to be pretty well endowed, so why would it be thought that she wasn’t either?
looks like it could be awesome. However am I the only one who noticed that gambits eyes are all kinds of wrong (and lets not get into the fact that he cant make cards fly as far as I can recall)

The guy in the trenchcoat is Sabertooth. The blonde that goes shiny has to be Emma Frost, despite the cleavage debate. Blob, gambit, and Deadpool are obvious. Any ideas who the black guy and the brunette are?

Ah well, regardless of quality, canon, or whatever doubts you have, you got to give them credit for making a movie that’ll really appeal to the hardcore Marvel fanboys. I mean really, Deadpool? 3 years ago, I would’ve never even imagined a Marvel character as awesome and as quirky as Deadpool appearing in a movie. Definitely a movie that has my attention.
