Other than that, not a whole lot of news. Some of you have already sneaked a peek at it, but I have a big announcement for next Monday, so I’ll just keep mum about it for now. Take it easy!

This morning I went to Barnes and Noble to pick up Ender In Exile by Orson Scott Card, the direct sequel to Ender’s Game. However I will not be reading it until I finish Little Brother by Cory Doctorow.

I also ordered The Complete Calvin and Hobbes box set. I have wanted this set for years. It has every Bill Watterson cartoon in a three-volume slipcased set.

When I was little, every sunday morning I would head to the local grocery store to pick up the sunday Washington Post. I wasn’t getting post to read the news, but to read the full color Calvin and Hobbes comic that was inserted in the middle with the other comic strips. Even though the set is a bit expensive, I feel it’s worth it.

Last night I decided to stay away from photoshop and do something away from the computer for a change. So I found a canvas I bought a month ago, decided to make use of it. This is what I came up with…

1. Onezumi’s asked me to drop you guys a link to her latest project, Stupid & Insane Defenders Against Chaos. Thanks for being patient, Oni! She, like a couple of comics in recent memory, has made the change over to something new. She will be at Katsucon (she’s actually in charge of webcomics at Katsucon), and we’ll be there too, so be sure to come by and say hi!

2. Speaking of conventions, we’ll be at Ohayo-con from January 30 to February 1 … pre-registration is still open, so give it a go!

3. PHOENIX DOWN

A lot of you have been asking me when this shirt is getting reprinted. The answer is, now! Yuko, who recently filled in on Applegeeks, is the designer of Phoenix Down. We talked and decided to do an exclusive printing together, under the Johnny Wander label, so if you head over to her Etsy you can snag one while supplies last (and check out some of the other stuff, you may like what you see!). When you make your order, MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY WHAT SIZE YOU WANT IN THE SELLERS COMMENTS WHEN YOU SUBMIT YOUR ORDER! This is a PREORDER, so that’s how we’ll know what sizes to ask for. The quicker the orders fill out, the quicker we can ship the shirts to you! Our ardent hope is to have them all shipped in time for Christmas. :D
