I really like the art in the latest AG Lite, dunno why.

So I got a late start on Monday’s comic. The line art is done, but I need to color it. One of the panels requires color to set a mood, so I’m holding off until I finish coloring it. I’m a bit tired so I’m going to finish the comic when I come home from work. So expect the comic to be done late Monday evening.
Hey guys. Sorry about the lack of posts lately. Things got a bit hectic once I got back from my little vacation, which was awesome by the way. I was able to relax, not worry about working and I met some awesome people on the way.
Once I got back from my vacation, I was kicked into Anime USA the next day. Ananth and I had awesome time.
Then after Anime USA weekend, I had to go back to work. Which, uh, I’m kind of running on my own right now. My bosses left the country for a whole month, leaving me in charge of clients and projects.
Along side of that, I’m working on the AG Vol 1 book and helping Greg Dean with something as well.
Busy busy Hawk.
For my birthday (and thank you everyone for the kind messages you left me!) John and Conrad got me a copy of The West Wing, Season 1. I’d mentioned that my brother Ajay had recommended it to me over and over again, but I’d never really had the time to sit down and watch it … well, now I’m watching it, and as always I’m late to the party. It’s a great show, a lot of fun … and also very, VERY soothing to watch during this election campaign cycle. I’ve been following politics pretty closely every since the campaigns started, and to tell the truth, it is sort of stressful to think about all these people with all of their passions and tempers all flared up … it’s like a pot waiting to boil over. Certainly it’s exciting too, but politics-as-entertainment is easier to swallow when it’s fictional to begin with.
There was a piece in the NYTimes a few weeks ago about what would happen if candidate Barack Obama went to fictional Josiah Bartlett to ask for advice … I didn’t really get it until I watched the show. What a funny, charming character Bartlett is.
If you want to comment about West Wing, go ahead (no spoilers please! I’m about 10 episodes into the first season so that might be tough) … but I don’t want to hear any campaign jockeying in the comments. Your choice is your choice, and this is not the place for that discussion.
Been sick for like a week … sorry for the lack of blog updates. Blech, will try to ramp it up this week! Sorry folks!
Sorry for the last minute update, Ananth and I will be at Anime USA. If you’re attending this weekend, feel free to drop by at our table and say hello.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, buddy! XD
Uh, I think.
