Muslim Children Gassed at Dayton Mosque After “Obsession” DVD Hits Ohio

I really don’t know what to say but wondering why isn’t this national news or why isn’t the media covering this.

Hey guys! I’ve been asked remind you guys that pre-reg for Anime USA ends September 30th. The event itself is from October 10th-12th in Crystal City, VA, and we’ll be there all weekend! Come chat with us! We’ll also have posters and prints and shirts if you are so inclined. :)

So you’re wondering, why the incomplete comics lately.

Allow me to explain my schedule during ramadan. I wake up at 5am to eat something before the sun raises. Then I go back to sleep for couple more hours and wake up again at 7:30am. Somehow I manage to put some clothes on and head off to work.

After a long day, I come home from work around 6pm or 7pm. By then I’m really exhausted and starving. When the sun sets, my family and I get together at the table with some food. Around 8pm, we head out to the mosque for the evening prayer. After the prayer, we return home and by then it’s pass 11pm. From 11:30pm to around 12 or 1am, I try my best to get any work done. This includes Applegeeks comics, the applegeeks book, freelance work, etc.

Finally, after my body shuts down, I head to bed and do everything all over again.

Now you know.

Hey guys! Hawk and I have been working hard on the book in addition to our normal responsibilities, which is why posts from me have been scarce in the past few days. Right now I’m ironing out strip commentary, which is no small feat when you’ve got to write a paragraph for all of roughly 160 comics. It’s just a little of the extras we’ll be including in the first volume!

In the next few weeks we should also be ready to announce the finalized title and official cover art, so keep an eye out for that! I’ll take some photos of some of the documentation and files that Samantha Robertson over at Dark Horse has been mailing us so you can get an idea of the process, if that’s of interest to you!

When I got home from work, I saw this little fella just sitting there. So I tried to get as close as possible and took a shot.

I got couple more panels to color, but I’m going to finish it tomorrow. It just has been a hectic weekend.
