Hey guys,

This may sound stupid, but I got a 3G just yesterday, so I’m gonna ask anyway. Does anyone know HOW to jailbreak the 3G? I have a first-gen iPhone that I used ZiPhone on (which I can’t recommend highly enough), but I can’t seem to find any recommendations for the new 3G. Any suggestions?

I figure if ANYONE will know it you guys.

Just wondering why this app hasn’t been submitted to be a normal itunes supplied app?

Hey Eric, I’m one of the Snapture developers. To answer your question the reason why this app isn’t available on the AppStore is because certain frameworks needed to write software that accesses the camera on the iPhone have not been opened up by Apple. Maybe one day you’ll see Snapture on the AppStore but for now it live in the jailbroken space.

Awesome, I’ve been waiting for this release since I upgraded to 2.0 on my crusty 1st gen iPhone!
