I am definitely going to watch that movie.

I didn’t get to see this at the local 12:01 showing of Dark Knight, but I watched it at work the next day. The only thing that will make this trailer better is finally getting to see it on the big screen at some point.

I just about fell out of my seat when I saw that trailer. Watchmen is going to kick so much ass!! If I’m not at the midnight showing for that, someone slap me.

They are going to explitive deleted up this movie … sad too, since the novel was so good.

I can’t see how badly they’ll bork up the movie - hell, I was practically pointing out to my wife the page numbers for each shot in the trailer. If they’re as faithful as that, it can’t be too bad - remember, as I told my wife, people were saying how bad Lord of the Rings was going to be. We might be past the age of the un-filmable book.

BTW - my first look at this was a mere 6 hours ago, and between seeing this and the best Batman movie ever, I’m prolly not gettin much sleep tonight…

I have to agree that looks frikin awesome! But did u hear that the C men Wolverine Comicon trailer has been leaked? It looks sweet! Looks like they have some awesome characters, such as gambit!! Try looking for the trailer on you tube

I heard they already licensed the game. The GAME. The Watchmen had nothing in it that would make sense for a game though; I am deeply afraid that they are going to “actionize” this story and butcher it.

You know what Watchmen’s visual narrative doesn’t need? Slow motion BS that grind everything to a halt to pack in masturbatory wow factor. You know what Zack Snyder will pack Watchmen with, because his miniscule script and lack of actual directing skills demands it? Not a hard guess here.

Yeah. It’ll be a bastardization, not an adaptation. Something to piggyback on the Holy Trinity of 80’s comics and milk fans unduly.

this movie looks awesome. i read the book earlier this year.

I have to agree, the trailer had me pumped. Too bad Fox has put the brakes on it indefinitely. Good job Fox, way to rewrite the definition of the term “c*cksuckers”

I worked distributing comics when this was being delivered each month. I was so stoked, I would pull a comic and read while we were driving back from airport to warehouse. To see this now, in any form, is totally cool and I will hope that the core story is true to the books, because I know they cannot show all of it in a mere 2.5 hours of film-time. (Some sources have hinted at a ‘behind the scenes’ battle to get a 3 hour version released.)
