I was thinking after watching it and seeing the horrible Cartoon Shitwork debut of Superman:Doomsday( the tv edit was so bad my eleven year old brother hated it!), they should've done a memorable Batman animated film like the Doomsday thing or the upcoming Teen Titans Judas Contract, they should've done Knightfall set in the Batman TAS (Bane breaks Batman's back and they would introduce Azrael) orNo Man's Land, or even to capatilize on the Joker with the Killing Joke, something. Gotham Knight was good though but could've been better, like a real direct follow-up from Begins to Dark Knight.

I have to agree completely. Conroy's voice seemed very off in the segments, and having Paulson (amazing voice actor that he is) do one of the villains was quite disturbing. I had never thought about a Yakko Warner vs Batman fight before, but it kept popping into my mind after watching the first few segments.

It was nice to see some new views on the animation and design of Batman, and even Bruce Wayne, but it wasn't enough to breathe real life into the movie. Pretty pictures are not everything, and, in this case, changing styles so frequently actually detracted from the viewing.

The stories themselves, as well, just disappointed me. They were all generic 'Batman vs bad guy' stories, with no real depth to them. Certainly nothing on par with 'Heart of Ice' or 'Feat of Clay'.

In the end, I can only say that the movie is decent to rent, but not something I'd go out of my way to own. I'd rather just re watch old episodes of Batman: TAS, and enjoy the golden days instead of try to muddle through what they're releasing now.

Have to agree with you. If you're going to use Kevin Conroy, then why not do a Paul Dini/Bruce Timm movie? Actually... yes, that's always the right answer. Do a Paul Dini/Bruce Timm movie.

But if you are going to do it anime-style, recording the voice after the animation, you might want to use an actor who has some experience in ADR. Someone like... Bale??

Hey Hawk, how do you do your lineart/inking for your comics? I'm not very good at it, so I was looking for some tips. Do you use the pen tool in photoshop? Or do you free hand it?

Personally, I didn't enjoy it too much. I didn't like the animation style for a few of the episodes, while some others were nice. I like that they had Conroy to do the voice, but in some episodes it really didn't fit. I'm just glad I rented it instead of buying it.
