The new pin-up cracks me up - I suggested it to Hawk immediately after I saw Wall-E.

Still moving Yuko, Conrad and John in! It turned out to be a huge disaster … we had unload the Uhaul into a halfway house so that we could then move them into their new apartment that was ready a day later than it should have been. Basically, we have to move them in twice … we’re all totally burnt out, but we’re still moving stuff. Thanks Fil, Joe, Mike, Archer and Eve for stopping by and helping us out, we super appreciate it.

I’m going to write up Friday’s AG Lite now, but I figured I would give you guys an update about the mundanity of moving! Have a good day guys! *starts carrying a recliner upstairs*

I COMPLTETELY understand your pain. I just finished my summer break from college. When I had come home, I had to put my stuff into storage, cause it had no place else to go. SO then I had to move everything back into a U-Haul, take it 6 hours north to Boston, then I was LUCKY enough to get a parking spot outside the house.
But here’s the big pain in the butt: I live on the 3rd floor of an old victorian house. Which itself is raised a full story above the ground. Had to go up a full flight of steps to get to the front door. Then 3 more.

I wish you the best of luck in your move, and I hope you have some good help, cause it’s worth it. Buy them a nice pizza.

I had to help move a friend halfway across the city last month. I decided to be macho and forgot how short and weak I am and let’s just say I had to take the next day off of work. D:

Also, during the Wall-E movie, we took up an entire corner of the theater with our enormously large group. Needless to say, we were the only ones who burst into laughter in the theater as soon as the mac start-up noise rang.

We’re such nerds :(

Cheers for sticking with them! I’d say it’s Miller time, but Miller beer is pretty awful. Get something good.

I treated Mike and Joe to a Blue Moon at a local D+B. Their order. ;)

I feel your pain. I’m still trying to figure out the logistics of my up coming move. Nothing like trying to move from an island in the middle of nowhere to another country altogether. Factor in rising gas costs and being on a grad student budget … I’m pretty sure I’m gonna have to give up a lot of stuff.

hurt neck ? did anyone say hurt neck ?
if anyone ever wanted to know how it feels to have a neck stiffen with concrete… i know it…
but it was worth it, we dismantled the oil tank in the cellar, no more oil firing of the house \o/

Moving is the kind of adventure that makes me shiver. In the past if I had the money and knew I was moving a enough weeks in advance then I would rent a storage unit. I would then begin box by box packing and moving stuff into it as I could. Then when moving time comes all those things you never expected or didn’t see coming are a little easier to handle. Moving is not fun.

You neglected to mention the sleeper sofa.

I forgot about the air hockey table.

Reluctantly helping my friend move.
