Oh, I had some time free so we went and saw Wall-e - AWESOME movie. I can’t recommend it enough.

Wall-e rocked! Saw it last night. Hot and humid in rochester today, I actually gave in and turned on my A/C.
I wasn’t too keen on Wall-E. I’m tired of the CG animation and have been for some time.
CG Animation is pretty much like any other animation. If all you are looking for in a movie is a ’style’ of drawing then you probably shouldn’t spend your $10 on ANY movie.
That said I enjoyed the movie. It totally blew away my expectations and I smiled through most of it. The story was fun and engaging, the main characters really emoted and there was plenty of development between them even though they don’t really speak.
The humans in the movie were amusing, even though they are basically over-exaggerations of our instant gratification Wal*Mart society (American society, I mean). They should be insulting in many ways, but if you can fogive the director/writer’s bit of propaganda they can really be amusing.
Excuse me for giving my opinion and my personal preference.
Wall-E was too predictable and proof that people blindly believe that “Pixar can do no wrong!” If they can do no wrong, why don’t they do something different?
i saw Wall-e yesterday its awsome! hehe i like the part when he couldnt figure out where the spork went. and the insane defect robat the attacked everything in site. lol, great movie
wall-e is a Mac… And so is eve! And so is applegeeks’ eve. I think pixar owes u guys a check.
I think we should find out the email address of one of the lead animators so we can get them to render out the states for an Eve dock icon for Adium. I would just about kill for that. (Heck, the first thing I noticed when I came back to my PowerBook after seeing Wall-e is that I’m using the white Adiumy icon…aaallllmmmooooost theeeerrrrre…)
This has nothing to do with your rant, but whenever I see your name, I seem to mentally switch the second a and n around (Annath). Don’t know why I felt I needed to post that, but I did.
…I just realised that i do the same thing. I wonder how common a thing it is to do and if there are similarities/differences in the brain chemistry of the people who do and don’t?

Wall-e was good. I loved it.
