A Story, A Beginning.

It seems they picked up from where they left off in the tv show.

Sweet, that was an awesome show, even if I didn’t quite understand what was happening alot of the time. That’ll be a must see for me, and probably anyone else who remembers it. Seven years is too long.

Yeah. I’ve been following it since it was dropped at SDCC last year. I was thrilled it was off the ground and running in under a year.

Kinda mad to never see an ending. Great show, and it went off the air without even finishing the series. So, are they picking-up where they left-off, or are they remaking it?

yeah, a while back they were doing some sort of voting to see what art style and story they were going to use, but I lost the website and hadn’t been paying attention. So if it sucks, just so you know, people voted for it to suck

yep, the classic show is picked up in comic form, and the new show will follow a different plot line and characters. Honestly, I prefer that they’re doing it that way, I think it’ll help keep the classic more true to the original. I’m kinda interested in seeing how the new one will turn out.

I’ve been hearing about it on/off for a year now, I hope it doesn’t suck. Cartoon Network didn’t even finish Reboot when we had it, it stopped after Matrix and GlitchBob got back to Mainframe and they did the big Alphanumeric number.

victor, to answer your question, its one of the first CGI cartoons that was syndicated, and this was around when toy story was the definition of CGI, it mostly revolved around personifying the insides of a computer as well as multiple concepts of hacking, viruses and programs and games.

Lol, this is awesome. I still remember to this day the episode where they spoofed X-Files by having Fax Modem and Data Nully appear to solve a crime (was in the middle of the X-Files fad, very funny)

Finally, I won’t have to explain my tattoo as, “It’s from a show that I loved as a kid.” That no one knows about. Yes it’s a mouse, not a bird, or a fat guy with his hat on backwards.

Didn’t they leave off somewhere crazy though, like with two enzos or something. Or I am the crazy one and make stuff up…I also remember a puppet show. O.o

Ya that’s what I was saying! they left it with everyone destroying the virus, the user rebooted the system, and because of that an younger enzo appeared.

Man, I remember when I would watch this show on Toonami. That was awesome. However, I hope they don’t go with a 2D cartoon look, I’d love it to stay as a 3D animated show.

Oh wow, I remember that show from forever ago, used to be one of my favorites (still is, even though I haven’t seen it since they took it off the Toonami line up). Can’t believe they’re going to jump start it. =o

Question is it the same people from mainframe that did the series originally, or some group that got the right to it?

That will play a part in how well its going to turn out.

I have to be the first to admit it, I’m kinda an obsessed fanboy when it comes to Reboot. I’ve watched every episode in a non-stop (except bathroom and food breaks) marathon I even have a bunch of the silly trading cards that came out. When they ended the series with “Crouching Binome, Hidden Virus” it sucked. How could they just stop a great series like this in that horrible cliffhanger way. Anyway, I plan on finding the entire Reboot series on DVD (I only have old beat up VHS tapes right now)…..crap this small comment turned into a rant….

So…. Is there a way to make the comic viewer full screen? It’s irritating that it (seems to be) a fixed size. I don’t like having to drag the comic around in a window in a window. And on my huge monitor, it’s really laughable.

Oh man, I loved this show when I was a kid. Istill remember so much…Enzo’s Birthday…Nullzilla…the Data pirate Attack…the Paint Program incident…you know, that’s how the whole mess started, with Hexadecimal stealing access to the Paint Program from the archives. Led to Mike breaking her mirror, the arrival of the Web monster, Megabyte sending Bob into the Web, Enzo losing a game, etc. all the way to Daemon and the return of Megabyte…Can you believe I haven’t seen the series since 2001?

MAn I remember being in highschool and a friend of mine and his girlfriend dressed up as Bob an Dot for Hallowe’en.

And I’m pretty sure the series ended with a web-powered megabyte taking over the core in a cliff hanger that saw Bob and Dot scrambling to save the system.
