Let’s get the obvious questions out of the way…
Do you sketch in pencil first?
Where can I get one?
:)
that’s beautiful
Wow, lovely! Where did you get it, if I might inquire..? I’m a fan of sketching myself. :)
Thank god, Hawkstudio, It’s all right! GaaaAAAAaaay……It’s Eve is a Fictional Robot!
nice :D that’s cool.
where did you find it?
Its so hard to find a decent good looking sketchbook …… soooo nice.
Mmmmm, I’ve been looking for a good leather bound sketch book for a long time…. thats niiiiiiice…. also makes me want to finally go out and get myself some ink/pens
Here’s a link to what I believe is the same sketchbook.
Brown Distressed Leather Journal
oooooh me likey
i use the same brushes for fine detail miniture work
for those that do not know what minitures are they are model aircraft, boats etc.
Reminds me of those little diaries you see in treasure hunting movies with all the cryptic notes and sketches of secret symbols and ancient creatures. Pretty neat.
Do want.
Amazing as always Hawk.
Nice! Looks awesome.
WANT.
Nice find. = )
I have to ask, how is the paper quality and how quick is the dry time on the inks?
Where’d you get that? I’ve been looking for something similar as long as I can remember!
I’ve picked up many a leather-bound journal at Barnes and Noble. Nice stuffs. Though I don’t sketch anymore. Just write. But I do write in ink and I find that the paper in my current journal drinks up ink nicely. The tooth is decent, not the super smooth stuff. Hope this helps.
Indeed, it does. Thanks! = )
The last couple of sketchbooks I have received have been iffy at best when it comes to quality. I think I’m going to look into this a bit further.
What sort of pen and ink do you use?
Hawk, can I use the later photo as a desktop wallpaper?
