AWWWWW this is awesome, I’ve been wanting a Hulk 2 but I had heard that they weren’t going to do one since what’s his name said that he wouldn’t play Bruce Banner again

I go to school right where they were shooting the street scene, and so I got to see the huge explosions and sets and props everywhere- it was kinda fun, lol. They closed off Yonge St during the weekend at night to shoot.

If you look closely at the ending shots of the street, you can see the lights of Zanzibar, which is actually a strip joint [lmao] and also the Big Slice, which is kind of neat, because I happen to eat there for lunch alot.

So excited for this movie to come out!

That is the way the Hulk is supposed to look! I’m excited, also Iron Man looks like it’ll rule as well.

The first one was horrid. I wouldn’t want to be associated with that either.

No, I’m with you. I enjoyed the first Hulk a hell of a lot. I’m not sure why they’re making a second one, though apparently there’s a demand for it.

The last Hulk movie was pretty terrible. In fact, I’d put it at a tie with “Alien vs. Predator” for the worst big-budget movie I’ve seen in the last 10 years or so.

This had better be better; either way, I’m not seeing it in theatres until it proves itself.

I didn’t enjoy the second half of the first Hulk that much, but I thought some of the stuff in the first half, such as the scene transitions and whatnot were pretty decent. I’m just excited for this one because it looks like it looks like Bruce will get some action scenes outside of being the Hulk.

Also, Robert Downey Jr. is in it!? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800080/ Crossover between two movies roughly around the same time…I think I like this. :)

He was referring to the fact that Robert Downey Jr. is showing up on IMDb as playing a cameo of Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) in “Hulk”. Which had been a rumor going around for quite a while

Yeah, that is what I was referring to. Thanks, Goat. :) I hadn’t hear the rumor because, truth be told, I didn’t know there was going to be another Hulk movie.

Though we have to admit, that the “Hulk” in the first “new” adaption looked pretty close to certain comic designs.

I dunno what I shall think of this one. True, the designers try to fit it into a more realistic realm, they did well with the Thing in Fantastic 4, but from the Trailer (which runs well in Germany btw) I’m still like “wonderful… another CG battle.

Then again, thank god that it’s not like the Hulk from the TV series. :shudders with horror: Though “this” Hulk actually approves the new rendition of the story.

Reboot or not, the only movie series who did that well was Batman. And what pisses me off here, is the fact that the Justice League movie won’t(!) feature the same actors for Superman and Batman. This is what Marvel insisted on “we want to do an Avanger movie, and we want the same actors in it that we used before in single releases”. Indeed a good concept that pays off, because you already relate to the actors.

I was reading a reveiw in an Empire magazine about potential actors for the marval characters….I can’t be sure who’s going be who but it was a long time ago. But I heard Jim Carrey was to be the Elastic Man.

I think that more than anything, the reason behind not using the same actors for the Avenger’s film as in the single releases is cost. They would be talking 5 or 6 top paid actors for one film. That’s a hell of a lot of cash needed there. Also you have the added factors that all of these actors, being the “A Listers” will be doing other projects, so getting them all together at the same time would be pretty difficult. Finally, all these actors together may not actually work together on screen. When choosing the right cast, you have to make sure everyone gels together. To be honest, in my opinion it would be alot better to just make a young justice league film, because it would then delete all of these casting issues OR go exactly the oposite direction and make a justice league film with the heroes older. True doing either of these things would make it alot harder for none “fanboys” to relate too as most of the general public only see these characters as “middle ages batman” aka the stereotype for the character. In my opinion, the film has a great potential to be a flop, but with all those heroes, it will make millions none the less. Only plus side i see for this film is that DC are making it and not Marvel, because DC are making alot better on screen versions of their comics than Marvel. You could argue DC Characters are more realistic, so the translation is “easier” to film, but none the less, give me The Dark Knight over Iron-man any day!

I never quite understood why everyone hated on the previous movie so much. I suppose while most people were expecting something more psychological, I was just looking for the Hulk to bash things. It wasn’t the greatest movie ever, but it wasn’t an “abomination” either.

I am getting really sick of these CGI comments. How else are you supposed to put a twelve foot-tall green giant on screen in a live action film? If you can think of a better way then by all means share the secret that Hollywood should have used!

I blame it on watching the pre-production bootleg.
…and seeing the Hulk ripping the turret off of a tank, and then tossing it a couple of miles away.
…and watching him long-jump across the country in a matter of hours.
…and Nick Nolte.

I’m with abynormal (waaaaay down at the bottom) I never understood the beef with the original either. Most people whined about CG and the truly superhuman things the Hulk did. Now I didn’t read the Hulk comics much when I still read comic books but I remember him being able to do all those things. And if you are going to have a 12foot tall green man doing that might as well make him all CG since so much of him would have to be animated anyways. I didn’t like the first movie but I wouldn’t call it a failure from the story standpoint. It was true to the Hulk from as far a I can tell.

ye well the main reason why i find the new hulk stupid looking is because of the face.. from the pics above he looks like he would have eaten whole bunch or very ripe lemons. the first hulk movie had good looking hulk. it was big and bulky, althou the whole growing bigger in the end was weird
