“and now for an obscure movie reference”

so Hawk since Jess has named her MAC “Logan” are you going to refer to her boot up as “Logans Run” *badump dump*

yeah that one sounded better in my head… oh well.

‘’ says ‘OBJ,’ is that suppose to be an object or picture of some sort?
Is that a teaser picture of “Logan?”

Hey now. That’s *very* important…I do a lot of research about the proper name for any new Mac well before I have it in my hot, sweaty hands.

Wait. That didn’t sound right.

Mac Classic named “Ot’s Yurtle”
8100/80 named “Stacked Chaos”
PowerTower 150 named “B’bub”
iMac DV/SE named “Speedball”
Pismo Powerbook named “Anthracite” [since handed down to my wife, now called "Clive (the Bi-Polar Bear)"]
Intel MBP named “New Hawtness”

I haven’t been an ass to anyone on the internet in a while, so I figure, what the hell?

This might be more meaningfull to me if I used a Mac.
*awaits Hawk’s horrible vengeance*

Also, I dunno if this has happened to anyone else, but applegeeks helped me pass a class recently. We had to make some kinda propaganda poster in my American Cultures class, so I used to gas sign from this:

So I’m not the only one to name my macs, mine are Ginger (very very old mac), Grizzly (imac), Garfield (ibook) and Ashura (powermac G4)

all the names of my cats save for Garfield, just my favourite comic cat him :p

I named my computer… well it can’t really be pronounced by any human I know and most certainly it can not be typed only described in vague detail. My MBP’s name is the sound that a hard drive makes when it is analyzing the data on the disc you know that sort of clicking sound that is kind of echoey that tells you your computer is working on “it”. That is my computers name… it exists between words… between time and thought… that last part just makes it sound more poetic than it really is.
