As a Batman fan, I am pleased to see the Joker going this route and based on what the Joker looks like, it should be a good flick. *Glee*
Heath Ledger’s casting as the Joker in the Batman Begins series is something I absolutely cannot wait to see portrayed. Word is he carries a notebook around and tries to write down things that The Joker would find funny (AIDS among them). One can only hope we’re going back to the original joker- a truly twisted and violent sociopath who should, arguably, make the vomit feeling crawl up your throat and out your nose; not just a mechanism for Nicholson to be a non-scary jackass.
The stakes are high to play the Joker and do him justice; here’s hoping they got him right. I’ll be there opening night, maybe use one of my floater holidays at work…
see now i was really looking forward to this after the website… then i saw the ag lite and it made me wince…… (although im still gonna go opening night to see it)
must…get…new EMPIRE!
like i don’t get it every month, but this one should be good.
