… is what I have. I’ve got a sore throat, really dizzy, generally feel crappy … I think got it from commuting back and forth every night to pick up extra stock for Anime USA.
By the way, Anime USA was a blast! We sat next to X-Strike Studios, who seemed like some pretty cool guys although we were all pretty busy all weekend and didn’t get a chance to chat at length. I’d like to pick their brains over their movies next time - their P. Rappa’s Nth Mile Dilemma sounds like it’s hilarious, and I’ve heard nothing but praise for ‘em. We also saw the Chisuji guys and I got to meet the man behind Misfile, Chris Hazelton, whose background was of great interest to me. We also got to see a lot of convention mainstays like Dave Lister of Paradox Lost, Chris Malone of Blue and Blonde, Garth of Comedity, and Brian Wilson of Hookie Dookie Penis. Er, panic. I also had a long, interesting conversation with Jim Brown of Morlock Enterprises regarding Mutagenics - a conversation that will definitely continue.
Speaking of Mutagenics, I know I said the store would be open again today, but, ah, bear with me while I try to work through being sick and taking care of things one at a time. I’ll be sure to post when it’s back up.
Also, thank you to Jess for helping out! She brought us food and watched the table and was generally helpful. I’ve been friends with since I was 13, so it’s always a joy to see her.

A friend of mine is really sick too with pretty much the same symptoms and he was at the con on Saturday. He started showing symptoms last night.
Not to sound like it’s the Apocalypse, but watch out. There IS a cold running around that has already killed a few people in a small amount of time. I know it runs a really high fever, but all the same if you get sick, go see a docter or at least don’t brush it off as a bad case of the sniffles.
Feel better soon! And when people are mean to you in the bathroom, just shut the lights off on your way out!
Hm, I never manage to get sick. Somehow, I am exceptionally prone to food poisoning though. -_-’ But…dizziness is fun…until you run into a wall. ^_^ That kinda hurts a bit.
ananth, you allways get sick after a con. You need to invest in some germ-x and airborn. I never go to a con without my germ-x!
I hope you feel better soon, Ananth. And travel tends to breed illness… all that coming into contact with hordes of people and their germs, ya know? :D
Yo, dude. Was great to actually hang out without being at a con for once. Allison and Ben had a good time too. That was some damn good bread. I’ll never forgive you for showing me that messed-up super-hero comic though… *scarred*
