Once again, we’ll be at AnimeUSA this weekend.

So far the schedule looks like this:

Friday: Webcomic Basics 10:00pm - 11:30pm
Saturday: Applegeeks 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Saturday: Photoshop Basics 10pm - 11:30pm (I think I’m doing this one)

[Edit] I’ll be doing free Applegeeks sketches at our table.

It’s cool to see you guys progress so much over the past few years…I got into Applegeeks back in 2004, and I’ve been a reader ever since. I really like the work you guys do. As you have a big show this weekend…so do I. HA. I’m at ImportFest, that’s in Toronto. Keep up the good work guys. hey if possible being able to do a guest page or something, to exercise my drawing skills

1) Answer for Kyle. You’re too close to San Diego Comic con, and they go out there about once a year cause it’s like… far.
2) Regarding Apple Geeks Lite No. 194. As one of ConnectiCon’s graphic designers, I wanted to see if the idea presented (car air fresheners as con badges) was actually a viable one or not. I figure we’ll need about 7500 badges if we make ONE style of badge for everyone, as smaller batches cost more, ans calculating 7500 x $0.35 = $2625 for two sided, one pantone color printing, the absolute minimum. If we want say… 4 color printing so we can get those pretty pictures you guys send to us every year on the badgest, its gonna cost us an arm and a leg, about 2000 dollars more than what I just quoted. So while it would be nice to be the “Freshest Geek Con on Earth” I don’t think it’s in the budget to do this.
3) I’d love to see those panels on video. In fact, regarding Haque on video, I think we may have the video of Haque getting pegged by a penny between the eyes lying around somewhere…
