Another random comic I did last night.

Just a reminder, the comment system is honor-based. You have the option to leave a comment, but please remember to use civility and intelligence. For the vast majority of you, that means continuing to do just what you’re doing.

So what prompted this? Today someone decided to abuse that option. Some individual thought it would be funny to leave a comment in my previous post, pretending to be me, using the name “Hawk” and my email. Name and email is required to leave a comment. The comment said “I hate all JEWS and CHRISTIANS.” I don’t find that amusing. Luckily, I was able to catch that comment and remove it before things got out of hand. I also reported the IP to the person’s ISP, which is the absolute minimum I am willing to do when it comes to hate-mongering.

We’ve been running this website for 4 years now, and not once have we had any problems due to our background until now. I make no secret of being a Muslim, and given the content of the comment, it’s obvious what the intent was.

Our site’s always been full of great people commenting on the blogs and posting in the forums. We really appreciate that, but in the light of the nature of this particular incident, we felt it appropriate to bring it up and make it known.

Okay here’s a freaky test for you guys. If you go to this link, you will see an animation of a dancer. Now do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise (counter clockwise)?

At first I saw her turning counter clockwise, but then I was able to trick my mind to see her turning clock wise…really freaky.
