haha. And now we learn how it’s done, in six easy steps!

And by six easy steps, I mean six easy steps…for people who can draw (like Hawk).

Nice comic. :P

That’s pretty cool. I always enjoyed looking at the creative process of others and seeing how it’s done.

Are the blue lines drawn in pencil and scanned into Photoshop? Or was this all done in Photoshop? Isn’t blue pencil supposed to be invisible to scanners or something?

If scanners couldn’t see blue, it would be a problem for photos….. :)
I think you’re talking about photocopiers…

I think I like the finished product without the word bubbles better. It makes it that much more random. No explanation for any of it. ;D

I think the blue is a holdover from the old days before computers. Everything had to be pasted up by hand and then photographed with a huge 1 to 1 camera, then burned onto a printing plate with uv light. They used to call it non repro blue. There I justed dated myself.

You changed how Hawk’s expression is in the last panel, maybe a change of heart?

If you don’t mind my asking what programs/hardware do you use? I was thinking wacom tablet in cs2 but anyway instead of sitting in envy I’d rather take steps to improve myself. Thanks for your time.
