I’m still trying to find something to replace the default login for 10.5
Nice man!! How do you do that though for Windows? I found a link that has a few posts on a forum, but I’m still not sure how to do it… Anyone with any information on how to change your logon screen lemme know @ ViperB77 on AIM.

start>Run> type regedit
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop
set the wallpaper value to the image file location. (has to be in bmp format)
You can also try looking up Stardock’s Logon editor(can’t remember the name for it), but it let’s you create your own logon, as you see fit. Then again you could just ask someone at themeXP.org to help you, and they’ll probably do so for you.
Isn’t that just for the display screen right before the login screen?

No one would happen to know why the image i replaced it with wont show…??
Reading the comments in the linked tutorial above, it appears that the files have been changed/relocated…
Make sure the access rights for the image are kosher too…the login panel is not running as “you”.
what should the access rights be?
Its ok I worked it out, You gotta make sure that the file is locked under the general part in file info.
