I just don’t have words.

At least they’re having a good time … ?

The Trekkers probably won because none of the Furries could translate the scores from Klingon. xD

Strangest thing I’ve seen so far today. I just did a quick bit of looking into this, turns out the Klingons won.

At least it kept them entertained, right? = P

ewwww….this ties into my whole idea I had at con for a t-shirt. “I hate trekkies, furries, and anyone who’s even been to a ren fair.” Although to be fair, I really don’t mind trekkies, I just never though the two would be used in a sentence together, ever again. And now I know that they shouldn’t be.

I saw the pic of the one wearing a fursuit with a trekkie shirt. That, my good sir, is the offspring of some scary bowling night drunk happenings. XD

My question would be if they got in to their outfits after they got to the bowling alley, or if they left home dressed like that. I woulda’ loved to see the looks on peoples’ faces as the furries/trekkers(trekkies) zoomed past in traffic. I’m sure the double-takes people did caused some accidents. With driving, seeing the furries, and then whipping out their cells to call their buddies and say “You won’t believe what I just fekking saw!”

Big deal! If it had been Plumbers vs. Carpenters or Bricklayers vs. Electricians (in *their* uniform/workclothes) no one else would have batted an eye. But “Furries vs. Trekkers/Trekkies” and it becomes about some undefined sexual perversion??? Grow *UP*, people!!! It was just two groups having a good time in their respective fantasy “uniforms”. I can only wonder what kind of reaction a Mac Geeks vs. Windows Geeks bowling tourney would get…

People have just watched too much CSI, thats why the Furries feel kinda creepy. They had a really perverted scene with a Furries convention in Las Vegas in one of the seasons. When you can’t look someone in the eyes becuase: a) They’re costume hides them, or b) Too embarassing to look, then its pretty bad. I can’t say that it disturbs me, its just easier to be comfortable with a person when you can see their eyes or face. As for the Trekkers/Trekkies, thats about as creepy as a cosplayers, so not at all. As long as they shower >.> (the rumour is true).

seriously, people, as Mr. Roddenberry said himself, “You’re Trekkies. I know, I invented you people!”
