I’m posting this because I have been getting emails asking me when the comic will be posted when it’s late.

I’m trying my best to do the comic around this busy time. Even though I can’t finish the big comic, you guys are getting the AG Lite on time.

If I paid for the comics I think I’d be a little annoyed when they are late, but as things are I don’t see that I have cause for complaints. Disappointment, maybe, but no whining allowed.

If we were paying to see the comic then I could understand a bit of bitching, but seriously… this is a hobby for you guys, not a career. I’m just glad you post stuff up on a fairly regular schedule. Hell, I’m happy you put this stuff up at all, as otherwise none of us would be able to enjoy your amazing artwork, stories and humour. Just keep up the great work and if life gets in the way now and then… well, we’ll survive. If only so we can see the next installment of AG. ;)

Hey..quick question…how do you find going to the gym in the morning during Ramadan? I’m not sure what time is the suhur at your end, but over here its at 5:30am, right when the gym opens up. I am assuming your fasting, so if you have any good workout regimines during fasting, I’d be more than happy to hear it!

Comment by Hawk
2007-09-17 19:49:25

the gym club i go to is near where i work. so i go to the gym, work out for an hour, clean up and head off to work.

Comment by Hammy
2007-09-17 23:03:32

Yeah…but my question is how do you handle it with the fasting? I usually abstain from the gym or go after sundown so I can at least get some water in me during the workout…so I was just wondering how you find it going in the morning during fasting?

Relax, Überhawk!
The fact that you have a life AND do AG could, in the worst case, lead to: US ADMIRING YOU EVEN MORE! (Which would be hard, considered how much we do it already…)

Happy Ramadan!

I love you Hawk!! You don’t need to defend yourself to anyone, you do great work all the time for us readers for free. AG is great compared to other webcomics which claim to be on schedule but never are and never give any explanation whatsoever. So keep up the great work and take it easy, cuz obviously Ramadan isn’t the easiest time of the year for you to get things done.

Man, this is the second web comic I read and both you guys and the other two (oddly enough the others are two girls) are getting people sending e-mails wondering why the comic is late and all.

Come on people! Leave them alone! This isn’t a job for them, it’s a hobby and don’t think they wouldn’t get annoyed to the extent of putting the comic on hold just to spite those who can’t be patient. The other comic I read has had too many people annoying them and being downright rude and they have threatened to stop the comic. *sigh*

Thank you for making the comic! ^_^

DUDE! Honestly! For those of you who are complaining about the comic not being up on time, shove it! Hawk and Ananth are nice enough to provide us with this wonderful FREE service that is their awesome comic. I appreciate the late nights they both put in to providing us with AG and AG Lite comic. In my opinion, both of these comics are worth the wait. Plus anyone that asks someone to put a project or work before family or personal matters, such as religious days of significance, should be taken out into a dark alley.

Hawk, take as much time as you need. I am sure that we are all willing to wait, and for those that are to impatient, you don’t deserve to partake in the reading this comic.

I’m more irked by lack of explanation of a late or missed comic then the comic itself, but I generally attribute it to “life stuffz” (whatever those are…). Post them when you can, we’ll still be here.

if the comic is late, we do post its going to be late. However, we dont have to go into details.

Comment by Jinto

Details aren’t what I meant to imply. I’ve seen some webcomics go months with out an update as to what’s going on, leaving one to guess if the comic is on hold, forgotten or simply dead.

Hmm, you’ve got time to sit down, even if you don’t relax.

0530- wake, exercise, etc
0630- college (class @0700)
1200- lunch
1300- last class
1405- work
1900- home, dinner
1930- homework, housekeeping, etc
2200- exercises, quiet time
2300- sleep

Yeah, I know the feeling. *grin* Just keep up the good work. Even if you don’t keep up the pace, it doesn’t matter. The quality over quantity.

Oh, and tell those sorry sacks of something that if they keep harassing you, they’ll have to answer to Mr. Rocky *waves 10lb sledge hammer with a grin*

I realize this is a long way down the line of comments, but I’m curious: do you find it beneficial to work out during Ramadan? I would think that the fast wouldn’t work well with working out, because without being able to eat or drink anything your body can’t recuperate as well after exercising (lack of fluids and energy).

Um, I think the real thing here is that we don’t feel you should be allowed those two blocks between Full Time Job and Mosque. That’s precious PRECIOUS inking/coloring time.

Honestly though, there’s no need to explain yourself. If he’s reading this, YOU COULD BE LIKE VGCATSMAN AND TAKE A 2 MONTH HIATUS WITHOUT NOTIFYING ANYBODY. Side note. Anyways, take care.

I USUALLY work 3-5 hours a day. Its not as pleasant as you might think. We don’t have anything approaching a set schedule, and the boss usually dicks around preventing us from building anything until the hottest part of the day. Also lunch sometimes comes after two hours, sometimes after six. And yes, I know thats illegal. But where else do I get a possible 3 hour work day?
