I’m trying to get in the habit of drawing in my moleskine sketchbook.

Love Moleskine notebooks. Usually the only thing I use, these days.

Yep, excellent quality and they look a hell of a lot better than your average flip-pad.

I’ve never heard of a moleskin sketchbook before. Is it really made of moleskins? And if so, how many moles do you suppose they’d have to use to make enough surface area for a book? I mean, moles aren’t really big animals, I’m guessing it take at least 3 or 4 to make a single page.

They were originally made from mole skin but now they are synthetic.

They have all SORTS of different kinds.

They have lined ones for writers - both side- and top-bound (reporter style) ;)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEZZ. feel free to hate me. where did u buy em! killing those dam moles for their skin! there is only an “e” added at the end of moleskine to hide that facet that its made of mole SKIN!

Nice Pencil! That is a pentel graphgear 1000 if i am not mistaken. I recently bought the 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.7, and 0.9 versions, along with the 0.5 and 0.7 ballpoint pens. What do you use as a pencil case? I am looking around for a good one.

Man, I love using my moleskine pocket book for various important notes and such, I just hate having to pay like 10 bucks for a small pocket pad. I figure the sketchbooks must be at least 25 each. But, you’re right, they are nice.

I fail to see what’s so hot about these. I have a very nice black leather notebook/sketchpad that i can fit a 100 page top bound notebook and a 200 page side bound notebook in at the same time. Easy access, and two different paper types. I have a lined top bound pad and an unlined side bound pad in there so i can write and draw.

I really only notice the difference in paper quality while doing a big ink/marker thing or when using really cheap paper (i.e. standard school unlined paper)

I happened to notice the Graphgear 1000 pencil you have in there; unfortunately, I cannot quite tell the color, I think it’s black = .5 mm lead …

I can’t say I’ve used the Moleskine pads, but I love the GG1000 pens and pencils; I have a .3, .5, and .9 pencil, and the .5 pen as well …

Yeah, I need to get a life ._.

The moleskine is epic. I’ve been writing in mine every day for the past two years. I only use the squared pages, though. I’m working on finishing up my 11th. Just thought I’d brag!
