I think I’m done. I was experimenting and trying to go beyond what I usually do.

wow, nice work.
should definitely be a poster.
wow… the globs of blood make it kind of confusing at first… but its completly awsome… O.O
Hooray for experimenting! ^_^;; You’re amazing Hawk! Your great work has left me in awe once again…
I know this was said earlier, but very Frank Miller. And that says a dang lot. I think if you bleached the colors out a bit, you could picture Wolvie here ambushing Batman in Dark Knight 1.
Looks good. A request: Let us see how you draw DAREDEVIL.
i agree that the blood is really nicely done.
Personally, I like the black and white version better as it leaves more to the imagination. :P
holy shit that’s awesome!
Is there anything you CAN’T DO?! That is freakin awesome!
That’s sick!!! (in the so-awesome-my-head-may-explode way)
^_^
That’s amazing, Hawk!
The Black and White is better because in that one you could see the arms. In this one it does not even look like a x-man but a person that tranform or trying to tranform in to a wolf. I think you went over board with the color just a bit.
Keep it up and someday you may be as good as me!
But that’s a big maybe!
Hey there, long-time reader and first-time poster.
I’m a slight Wolvie fanboy, I admit that.
I love the way you’ve brought the kind of action and aggression into the artwork, someone else stated Frank Miller. While I do agree slightly with that I can also see a bit of Bill Sienkiewicz’s more passionate art pieces.
My only caveat is that Wolvie’s claws are obscured and I think that lends to a bit of confusion regarding the character; particularly to someone who does not know the X-men.

good lord hawk…when are you going to start working for marvel because they would be getting an amazing artist! i could so see this as a cover art EASILY…and i know im not the first but if you did same proportions as the b&w colored and make it into a poster i would buy it faster than the iphones sold!
Hmm, looks definetely good, as already mentioned above. But as I commented on the early version: I liked the rough b/w one better… ;)
Hawk…I love wolverine and you just honestly blew me away with this. I love it a lot and I wish I could own it somehow…good job man you should try the others as well. :)
I like how the imagenary bow the blood creates frames Wolvie. However it also makes me want to look to the upper left corner… perhaps a hint of a yellow full moon to complete the arc ;). Otherwise good composion and nicly colored. Good work
Hawk… that is so hot.
Seriously.
And I never comment. So you must know how hot I think that really is.
See you… soon, I guess!
You declawed Wolvie T_T
and it’s important for him to have claws, it’s his thing
