my guess would be that if Bruce Wayne can build the all of Batman gear and is a computer whiz, then he probably knows how to operate digging machines. i can picture Alfred at a Home Depo asking the clerk how much to rent a back hoe for the day however and it is funny as hell!
It’s reminiscent of the conversation had in the first Clerks film; however, that one was in regards to the Death Star.
