It’s definitely faster. Being able to drag tabs is pretty cool too.

It’s pretty slick. I was suprised when it opened itunes when I clicked on a link in one of the itunes tabs on the startpage. I’m only running it on XP inside VirtualBox but it is still pretty fast.

I installed it on my PC at work (Mac at Home) but when I opened it and asked me to login (on a network at work) it crashes! It’s a Beta so what are your going to do, but anybody else have this problem?

Yeah, it’s fast, but it’s still a beta. I am having some UI problems, but I’m still lovin it for Windows.

Missing some of the neat features that current browsers have. Burns more fuel than Firefox, and then naturally way more than Opera. Smooth fonts and glowing highlights are neat, and I’m glad it’s not suffering from scrolling disfunctionality of iTunes (at least on a PC), but the novelty wore off pretty quick. Will try when it becomes full version though, it IS neat =)

I like it (using it now to type this comment) although I haven’t noticed much of a speed difference though, but it looks great.

It’s not bad, strictly speaking; it’s actually pretty slick, but the ridiculously slow mouse scroll speed (It scrolls at one line per wheel-tick despite settings) and ignorance of my back/forward buttons (also on the mouse) is going to turn me off of it, at least until they can get that hammered out.

Doesn’t want to work on my 64bit Vista but will work fine on my Virtual XP Image and MacMini.

It also doesn’t like Authenticated Proxies. Crashes each time I put my U/P in.

It does render web pages a little faster. But the fact that it renders every little bit of text on the page in sans serif makes me want to stab something.

I installed it. I don’t think I’ll be switching anytime soon. I don’t think i’ll ever get rid of firefox just because of all the extensions I have running like foxmarks for instance, which keeps all of my bookmarks in sync across a ton of different computers. As it stands now I’d take opera or firefox over safari any day.

Sans-serif makes me cringe when not doing financial, math, tech, or science text.

Seeing it on a browser as the set, unchangeable (at the moment) text option just throws me off. Most of what I do on the internet is read e-books, fanfics, or blogs so this really hurts my eyes after a while.

Scroll speed is too fast using keyboard arrows, and too slow using the wheel.

Also can’t multi-task with a current-gen MMORPG up, which really cramps my raiding duties.

Most everything else is pretty good, and I’ve submitted my complaints to Apple. So its back to Firefox until a full version comes out.

(Wow, looking back at my text I come across as all types of nerd….:P)

I think its pretty slick, they added more control+click functions to it. (right click) I like how you can resize comment bars now when typing in to them. I wish it had better support for add-blocking though, I still ehar praise for those that use fire-fox with all teh add-blocking they have.

I’m running Windows (pity me, it’s a work machine) and I downloaded and installed this yesterday. It crashed 4 times just trying to arrange my favorites/bookmarks around. Don’t get me wrong, I love Safari. I’ve used it since 10.3, but this version (at least on Windows) is a bit buggy thus far. Hopefully Apple will get it working properly before too long.

It crashes a lot, I tried it on my winPC at home and work but it crashed on both, I think Apple is trying to understand the mess in Wincode and they made some mistakes :D
Well, Stable should be out for October, let’s hope they fix everything for that time.
