I’m going to finish coloring the comic tomorrow after work.
I also got a new scanner, a Canon LiDE70. It works on a mac intel machine and it works with Photoshop CS 3. =)

Is it just me, or have you been using a lot of new coloring techniques lately?
same technique.
I have to agree with ???, your work is seeming a lot… richer, these days.
Also, congratulations on the new scanner, when I heard your old one broke, I was all, D:
Well you’re no Snake, but if worst comes to worst you can always throw the table.
now, when did you get cs3?
or are you just mentioning cs3 because you are going to get it soon to match your new scanner?
I have cs3.
i love his little chin hairs XD
Nice choice in scanner, I have a couple of models down from that and it works great. I was too cheap to shell out for the 70.
I was under the impression that you moved on to the Cintiq, didn’t know you still did it by hand and scanned in your drawings. Thanks for the link to the scanner, I have been looking for a new one. ^_^
If you look at the left eye of the colour picture above for 30 seconds, then quickly switch to the left eye of the black and white one you get the colour inversion illusion.
awwww, are you going to hold a service to pay your last respects to the old scanner? =(
Does the new one get an innitiation ceremony? =P
When will we get to see the baby pics of the new scanner?
Okay, I’m a geek. There, I admitted it, but I like drooling over new toys.
lol, thats the same scanner i have. i really like it cause its simple, very small so i can just put it in a bag when i travel, and its looks really nice. i put one of the megatokyo stickers on it, the “Overclocked” one.
I recently got a LiDE25 because my new Sawtooth G4 doesn’t have a SCSI port card and I can’t find *ANYONE* who will sell me one without forcing me to bring it in and have *them* install the card, charging me for both the card *and* an installation fee. (I can install the damned thing [and any extensions/drivers] *MYSELF*, thank you!)
The problem is that the extension/driver sometimes doesn’t recognize the scanner unless I put the USB plug into a particular port in the hub that I use. Then, sometimes, it will transit the scan head to the rear wall of the scanner and vibrate against it without returning to the “Ready” position. Then I have to unplug it from the port and start over again. *VERY* annoying! Anyone have any ideas what’s wrong? Tech Support was stumped when I described the problem, and I haven’t heard back from them since they promised to study the problem. (Not that I expect them to do anything, anyway. My experience with Tech Support everywhere has been frustratingly poor over the years.)
I’m putting my money on a faulty hub. Is it a powered hub? It’s common for hubs that aren’t powered to become poopy when lots of devices are hooked to it.
Hadn’t thought of that. Hmmmmm… (Then again, what the hell use is a multi-port hub if you can only use one at a time?! Grrrrr… :-( )
Best Comic Ever :3
