Okay, Ananth, you win. Sometimes I’ve thought that Threadless is just another stuck up overhyped everybody-wants-to-hold-to-their-artificially-cool-standard shirt site.
But no longer. Oh no. Not since I saw “Ballad of the Birds” after following a streetteam link you posted from your blog here. I knew I must have one! Holy cow. Alas, I wasn’t quick enough; they were all out of guy size smalls before I could procure one. So I browsed further.
And I found The One Who Describes, but alas, that one is also sold out.
Lo, I did browse but even further, and came at last to the place of the Poet Trees. There did my eyes linger, for at last I had found refuge in their shade. Yea, they were in stock and in full season. But doubt remained….”I dunno, I really doubt this color goes with my skin tone. I’d regret it.”
And I turned away, saddened, as my doubts surmounted even the pricetag.
But then I lifted up mine eyes and was redeemed even by your link to the $10 sale. “Surely goodness and literature and the almighty Buck upon his steed shall save me“.
So, you can tell Threadless that I bought a shirt from them because you linked the sale.

Naw, Poet Trees is pretty cool. I’m still hoping they reprint the other two shirts I mentioned, though.
A shirt with a giant square on it…I assume you’ve checked here? It’s also possible the one you want is retired or sold out.

I have now officially succumbed to threadless - it’s a nice, tingly feeling.
I just wish they’d had more of the shirts I wanted in stock. It’s almost scary how fast they sell out of the good designs… “Defend the Castle” was sold out within 12 hours of it’s release and “Eclipse!” is still sold out, too.
Meh, just makes it all the more rewarding to get the shirts you want.
I often wonder if your diabolical hat is in league with Threadless and you’re just being brainwashed into these shenanigans…

I too bought a shirt (for the Sig. Other) from Threadless via an Ananth-link. If you’re not getting SOMETHING from being a big ol’ ad, then you should. ~_^ Even if it’s just a free shirt now and then.
Or maybe they should make you a special hat instead? =D
