After watching 15 Unforgettable Cartoon Theme Songs, I’m tempted to buy the Tail Spin Vol 1 DVD.

Yes yes those old theme songs are quite catchy. ^_^;

Tale Spin kinda sucked to me. I can’t remember the lady bear’s name, but she never gave Blue a chance.

Man, Duck Tales should’ve been the number one theme song! And I’m shocked that Winnie The Pooh didn’t make the list. What’s up with that?

I looked at that list too … it was cool to see a lot of those, including ones I’d forgotten (Mighty Max!). But why the heck were the Pro-Stars on it? I’d never even heard of them, and it was a dumb gimicky show … they could have swapped that out for Captain Planet. XD

I’m glad TMNT made top, and Batman made second, though … those were really memorable.

Okay, each one of those is going to be whirling around in my head all day, and you throw Captain Planet on top of the pile.

Thanks man. You just flushed the last remnants of my sanity down the tubes. :p

Tail Spin since it came out on DVD has been a staple of me and my buds getting together. What’s wrong with a bunch of mid twenties guys getting together to watch old cartoons? That’s right, nothing.

Although I also wish they would bring the old Centurions cartoons out on DVD too…

Yeah, Tail Spin is one of those old cartoons that I miss, like Tiny Toons or Darkwing Duck.

Darkwing Duck used to be one of my favorites. I’m surprised that it’s theme song did not make the top 10. It should have been on there somewhere. I’m glad that animanics made it on, that show was great. I loved that list though. It reminded me of the days when kids cartoons didn’t suck so much. There is nothing good on now.

TaleSpin is one of the many things that pushed me to become a pilot.

I agree the old cartoon theme songs were great, but out of all of them, I think the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles theme was great. It had a great beat to it.

Why didn’t Darkwing Duck make the list? That theme was HOT!

Ok, seriously, this is freaking tragic, and what’s worse is that nobody else has even noticed…Ghostbusters didn’t even make the list! It should be right there wrestling for Numero Uno with TMNT.

I used to watch a lot of those when I was little. The best shows I ever saw came from when I was a kid. Now I have to watch Anime for good quality shows. Not that I’m complaining, but it goes to show you that the new shows aren’t that fantastic. -_-

Speaking as an *OLD* “Old School” Saturday Morning and Weekday afternoon cartoon aficionado (I can remember shows like the original black-and-white Astroboy and the nearly-forgotten Super President [Google it if you think I’m kidding!]), I’m quite happy that there are places like YouTube and other websites that let me relive — even if only for the length of time that it takes to sing a sometimes-hokey theme-song — my happily misbegotten youth. Keep ‘em comin’, people! I’ve got a *LOT* of childhood memories I still want to dredge up…

And yet, I really want to forget that I watched the Kroft Superstar Hour religiously or even the Banana Splits. My childhood in the 70’s was one long acid trip.

OMG damn those 80’s cartoons. But this http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1642842 would take the cake. His name is said at the beginning of almost every sentence.

wow, those ones really made me cringe. when i was younger, i was absolutely attached to ‘teenage mutant ninja turtles’ and i cant remeber what i saw in it. i think some things are better left behind with youth ;)
