They don't allow pictures at the one I work at. No cameras or cell phones. My entire job consists of telling people to turn them off or put them away. Make my life easier and don't try it.
Sketchbooks are encouraged though. Just don't sit on the floor- it's crowded and people will trip on you.

Just uh... don't eat near them, or before or too soon after.

It throws off your appetite.

I went to see bodies when it was here in Tampa. Take a sketchbook, a camera (I think they allow cameras) and make sure you eat well before you go. I got to spend about 2 hours there, I easily could have spent the entire day. The fetus room is freaking cool. Make sure you see it!

We went there for a class field trip when we went through a human anatomy unit. They don't let you take any photos, so that was a turn-off. It's also better to have some time when you go. My favorite part was the circulatory system exhibit, which may have been because of the lighting. The fetal development part was educational as well.

The way they preserve the specimens is by using some polymer to replace the water inside cells, then dissolving the rest of the body. The specimens all died of natural causes, and with nobody to claim them, they were given to science by the Chinese government (the specimens are all Asian).

It's worth going to see if you can.

I just barely managed to see it before it left Seattle. Apparently someone stole a kidney a while back.

I went and personal I loved it...but I am not the type that is freaked out by such things.
This one lady fainted (I am not sure if she was just really hot or really grossed out)
