EDIT: Here’s the video that precedes the one I posted yesterday! Thank you to commenter mina!
Got turned on to this animated music video by Yuko - it is really cool. Pay close attention to the shadow that the ring casts at the end, I though that was a nice touch.
This got me thinking about the animated DVD Daft Punk put out … I wish more bands would do stuff like this, it’s nice to see animation explored.

Only caught a split second and I’m already blown away by the animation. Has a nice feel to it too. :)
yah, i noticed it too, the ring’s shadow makes a heart on the book. how symbolic. but the music video is so random, but then makes sense at the end.
Wierd, I found a link to an older version of the AppleGeeks site…I’m scared…Its all blue-gray and stuff, but brighter…
lol.. they way that was written made me think the video was by Yuko, and I just got really excited that she was making animated films now.
my mistake ^^
still a very cute video, though!
i dig the music alot. lovec the part where the dresses burst open inside the bubble guy…
the reason why the animation is SO beautiful is because the studio is part of Ghibli. So you can see alot of that style in this animation. :3
Also, the story makes a lot more sense if you watch the music video that preceeded it:

Hmmm…no angsty post from Yko for posting to her allegedly “horrible” site (Of which I’ve seen nothing remotely resembling horrible).
She sleep in?
Er. Yuko, I meant.
As cool as the daft punk animated music vids are “around the world” is still their best video imo.
It’s good and very fun but i still prefer metal over everything especially vikings.
Sorry meant to say Viking metal
As corporate whoreage as this may sound, I originally recall seeing the “ring shadow” bit on DeviantArt, oh, some years ago. When the first deviation featuring it was posted, it was a phenomenon, purely awesome perspective and capture. Uh, sadly, these days the site is populated w/ a lot of copies and none of the love. The video featured great integration of the effect and the overall narrative is certainly enticing :)
That is clever. The art is really nice too.
There is one more video that comes before Space Station no. 9
It’s called Portable Airport, you can see it here:

Very interesting. I like it very much. I must say, you humans are good at least at some things.
yeah, and we humans are much more cabable than a 1′ bear filled with cotton
Wow. I was just looking at that Video moments ago! And I hoped on over here and there it was again!
You and Emmy Cicierega (of emmyc.com) must be looking at each-others sites. You both posted the same things in around the same time!
nice. very nice.
