Hey Hawk, have you noticed any differences between the powerbook and macbook pro in terms of weight and dimensions?
Dimensions are the same but the mac book pro feels lighter.

Just because you don’t use some f’ed up anime style expressions doesn’t mean your characters can’t exhibit emotions…

So someone hans’t read the funny pages in his short adolescent life and doesn’t know comic tradition then? I mean seriously, anyone can look at your drawing style for AG light and Applegeeks and see direct correlations between your art style, Schultz’s art style, and the art style used in Calvin and Hobbs…. wtf?
He’s even got the anthropomorphic teddie-bears, it’s uncanny! :)

Somehow, I can’t believe someone would say that and mean it. Hawk has some really excellent drawing talent. I wish I could draw even a quarter as good as he does.

I’m gonna step in and defend the original quote here. Just look at Hawk and Gina’s faces in pannel five and Gina’s in pannel seven – they’re praticaly identical! I’m not saying that Hawk can’t draw facial expressions at all, just that he seems to struggle with the less extreme ones. Besides that, his work is just incredible.
The comment was a bit harsh, but there is some truth to it.
M may i take this chance to point you to the issues 168 through to 186 as these show that Hawk CAN draw “less extreme” facial expressions when he wants to.
Yeah, it’s not so much the ability as it is the style it’s drawn in. AG has been known to go through its changes. All the same, there’s ways to word your criticism. =3
