LOL!
Sorry, this GeoCities site is currently unavailable.
The GeoCities web site you were trying to view has temporarily exceeded its data transfer limit. Please try again later.
I peeked around and saw what it was linked to, and here is the same thing from elsewhere:
heh heh
Man, so true dat.
All you need to do is see that it’s being hosted on Geosites and know that it’s gotta be something bad…bad as in retarded…or stupid even.
I shudder to think the people hawk meant were running CNN…*brrr*
Canonfodder: I guess that’s what happens to sites that get linked by Applegeeks. XD
So which one is Ted Turner?
hahaha man.. Applegeeks is so powerful that when a link is thrown up… it crashes that day… and most likely really soon!
I’ve stopped watching news reports since the headline “American Idol loses another one”
Can’t say I never saw that coming…
Linking to Geocities is almost impossible. It only takes a little over ten ‘hits’ to kick up that error.
You know, that’s probably extremely true. And it’s a damn scary thought too. hehe
I am just wondering why you insist on showing over and over again how Gina and Hawk interact…I mean it’s great and I love AG but what are you getting at?
Isn’t it obvious? Grabbing boobies, FTW.
There is no greater pursuit!
shouldnt this go someplace else? like the forum? ^_^
It’s the first boob grab Hawk gets (that we can see) without getting physically injured. Let the poor thing enjoy it!!!!!
oops I actually didnt mean to post here, :P sorry
It’s like the old school house rock about the declaration of independence, they get to the “pursuit of happiness” part and a man chases a woman across the bottom of the screen, classic.
You know, I’m not sure which this comparison insults more…CNN..or B&B. :-/
Huhhuhhuhhuhhh…like…this is the news…and stuff…
heh heh yeah yeah!.. and in other news..hehheh… bungholiooooo.
Haha, I agree.
Since the comments in the last post are pretty buried, and this post is at least tangentially related, I think I’ll reply to that post here too.
The only American print/online news media I can stand are from my local papers, LA Times and OC Register. The TV news is unwatchable mind-deadening slop for the most part as well, even the once decent CNN. For great video-based reporting I really like http://www.vbs.tv/ Here’s a video where they talk about why they do what they do: http://www.vbs.tv/player.php?bctid=463858595 “We want to show the real deal, not just the bull***t you see on CNN.”
I like to get my non-America centric slant on news from the Guardian Unlimited. http://www.guardian.co.uk/
They also have a pretty spiffy blog/open opinion section called Comment is Free. http://commentisfree.guardian.co.uk/index.html
Funny really.. this reminds me of more or less a running gag we have here about why there’s such a thing as the CNN international edition in europe ‘because the american edition can’t carry the title news here’(loosely translated from dutch ‘omdat de amerikaanse zender hier geen nieuws mag heten’)
If you ever travel abroad, it’s quite interesting to check the difference between the way they cover things. One of the clearest examples I can think of was in the coverage of the invasion of lebanon or the lebanon war. An example I mostly choose because I know of a video to illustrate it.
Have a look at this video on youtube and ask yourself how soon you’d see something like this on the American station

Yes, you should check out the way different country cover different things. Pretty sure cnn is not half as “interesting” as, say, Australian, French, or Japanese news, just to name a few continents.
By the way, nice, complete and unbiased coverage of Dutch troops return to Srebrenica in the Dutch media last November, yep.
