Ok… And I thought I was the only one that got called in to worktoday. Had a job in Mt. Carmel, IL needs some lifting straps… 18 lifting straps shut the entire construction site down… And yeah, I get to look for them on Easterweekend of all weekends… You have any idea how freak’n crazy this is to be here right now!!!! Ok… put me in the padded cell next to hawk…

Haha, yeah, i heard a friend of mine saying this and i just can’t help but keep laughing at the little mental picture i get. And the more and more i think about this the more it makes sense:
The holiday is about the resurection of Jesus, and yet it somehow is now about eggs and a rabbit? What happened in the middle? Well, let me explain:
They came to the tomb, saw it was empty, then one of them was bitten as a messiah looking zombie came outta no where and bit one of them. After it was all stopped before it got outta hand, they had to find a cover up…so they used a scapegoat, or in this case, scape-chocolate bunny!
Yeah…prolly gonna get flamed about this but, hey, if you can’t laugh at whatever just is funny, then what’s the point? No harm is ment behind this, it’s just some humor…don’t fear it.
Heh I played SSMB and starfox all day with my bro. Does that count as awesome?
So I know I’m going to seem really stupid, and likely insensitive with this…
At what point did the Resurection of Christ become a Muslim holiday? All year long I hear diatribes and rant about how ‘christian religious’ observances don’t belong in public, until we get to the holiday that is Uniquely christian. Then everyone wants to go and worship the egg laying bunny or some such.
I had to work today too.

Yeah I worked Easter Sunday too, and I co-sympathize. I’ve worked 16 days straight for a webproject no likey. Two more and I can take a 5 day weekend!
