Yesterday I was introduced to a webcomic called Zap! The art is really good and it has shiny space boobies, which I approve.
Today’s AG lite was based on an actual conversation between Ananth and myself.

i just sow one issue of Zap and im already adicted…
…just wow…
Saw the first page and felt the need to read, will continue after school… DAMN YOU EDUCATION SYSTEM!
LOL…shiny space boobies. I am shocked that this is what Hawk keyed into…yes, shocked, and was not at all expecting that.
I’ve been reading Zap! for awhile now and it’s really something.
Did you google “shiny space boobies” and zapinspace.com was the first link?
His drawing style has come a long way since the comic’s beginnings. I like it.
It’s drawn by a female. The guy is just a writer.
I read the first page of the comic, and spent two and a half hours reading the rest of the comic. Well done Hawk. I love the progressive artwork.
these three words are the only reason I stopped to read it: Shiny. Space. Boobies.
Zap and Applegeeks are two of the best looking comics ever.
Been reading Zap! For a long time now. Close to a year or so. And I honestly love it. Has been on my top list of fav comics since I started it.
@Chris Giddings - Actually, it’s a she. >.
My comment got cut off! Anyway, I just basically said that I agreed with Chris that the comic has evolved a lot over the years and that if you you like the comic, come on down and throw some kudos at the authors. They’d appreciate it.
Thanks for the link to Zap comics. No thanks for linking to a spyware infested sink hole thou :P
excuse me?
I spose that what you get for browsing the web using Windows XP and IE6 thou.
The ad server they’re linked to occasionally tries to install Error Safe.
far as I can see theres only one link on the page man..
Zap! is good, Hawk. I found it yesterday, in the comments of your rant. The art is very good, compared to most webcomics. Extremely professional.
I’ll take credit for the introduction, just because. :P
it’s good!
http://crowstudios.smackjeeves.com good!
Love it, has a nice Ratchet and Klank sort of humor to it too. awesome.
The comic was interesting enough I was considering adding it to my regular reading list, right up until it spawned some sort of popup that locked up everything but ctrl-alt-del. The spyware sink hole observation was right on the money, which is a real shame to have their nice story and artwork tarnished by bundling it with that kind of crap. :(
Hi there folks. I’m the writer of Zap and I just wanted to address this popup stuff. I haven’t had or heard a problem with this until now, but all our ads are supplied through KeenSpot so I will check in with them and see whats up. If you could email me if you’d like to give me specifics on the problem, I think that would help… oh, and thanks for those who gave compliments and such.
I just went over to zap because you said you liked the space boobies… and I must say I agree with you, and I am already hooked on zap!
Nice one Hawk, i’ve been resisting reading any new webcomics as my daily browse of my favourites (including AG,Questionable Content, CTRL+ALT+DEL, Least I Could Do and many others) takes me over 30 minutes, now i’ll have to add Zap! too. Also I just stayed up all night reading it from start to finish because, well, I jsut couldn’t stop. It’s so good and it’s amazing how far the art and story-telling have come since the start. Amazing, definitely on a par with AG, Machall, et al.
