Well, heres how I see this. One person got out of writing a script. The other person didnt get out of drawing the strip. In that light, its hard to argue Ananth is an idiot. Hawk’s still up for debate :o
idiocy makes for a whole loada laughs sometimes. so it be all good.
on a random note, this is the only webcomic I know of so far that has two strips featured at the same time, with one main and another ‘lite’. so you get hits when people check to read the new AG Lite even if there’s no main comic update. pretty smart to me.
there is actually 1 other, though it just started it’s second comic recently, and both are feature comics, with 1 updating 3 times a week (mon, wed, fri) the other updating twice a week (tues, sat). and now for said site: http://www.giantitp.com (where I will be off to after I read the comments to Hawk’s Rant :P)
ah but AG Lite was still the first no? haha. what I meant was that there’re two featuring similar characters and occasionally the breaking of the fourth wall in the AG Lites.
Actually, Angry Zen Master was the first! We’d been kicking around the idea of a Lite comic for a while, but Jamie Noguchi was the first one to put that idea to paper.
