It’s lil’ Winslow from Questionable Content! I’ve thought of a whole slew of little strips involving Jeph Jacques’ lovable anthroiPodPCwhatsis, so you guys certainly haven’t seen the last of him.

I actually read through QC’s entire archive last week (I’d read up to around #400 in college and then when I graduated I didn’t have time to catch up … until now!). I love Jacques’ diverse cast, and I may have a slight e-crush on Dora. Maybe. A little. (And Penelope.) (*cough*) (”QUICKLY ANANTH CHANGE THE SUBJECT”)

Secondly, the bad news … no color comic this Thursday, either. We’re working on a major deadline at work, and it’s got us a little bowled over - we were in late Monday night, and last night Hawk took some work home. Let’s all give him some encouragement to get through it! :D

Applegeeks Lite will run on it’s usual schedule! Never let it be said that we don’t give you at least a little something.

Winslow! :D Yay! Poor thing, him hitting on Eve might give the word “crush” a whole new meaning. Or old, but different meaning. Or… well, you know what I mean!

Can’t say I can blame you. I don’t think there’s an unattractive person on the cast. Jeph is a very talented artist.

Yeah, I basically read the entire archive in two days. I was quite impressed and now it’s one of my favorite comics (Applegeeks being number one, of course). ;)

A very perverse thought comes to mind, but I’ll resist writing it down.

Can’t believe no one has made the obvious Jaws reference yet.. so it falls to me.

You’re gonna need a bigger boat!

Personally, I think it would make many people (myself included) were Jeph Jaques to cameo Hawk in QC. I mean, come on. But, alas, i too can relate to thine e-crush. I have one on Martin myself.

There’s this snarky chick at Starbucks who looks much like Faye. I’m her Argument Guy… not that we argue.. it’s more like I walk up with an idea of something cute and witty to say, then I just say thank you and leave. She does however remember the time I come in and has my coffee ready extra quick. The best days are when I get the free side of sass. I missed the perfect moment to let her know that too. She said something about my drink preference and I should have said “I love my coffee hot, with a little sugar, and plenty of sass.” Instead I said something like “I like coffee with hotness and…. bitterness?”

So sad. But I did get a laugh. Perhaps one day I’ll work up the balls to introduce myself, but I don’t want to be the creepy stalker customer, ya dig?

It’s more pathetic than cute, trust me. lol I always feel dumb too. Then I wonder “What if she says no? Could I come back? I like getting coffee here.” Then I frown. That IS cute. :P

Carpe Diem my brother, ‘Seize the Day’. whats gonna happen if you walk in one day and you see some dude giving her his number?
All you have to do is say ‘Thanks for the coffee… would you like to go out?’, if she says no then just mark it up to experience.
